« Wonderful hotel, but as other reviewers said made to feel like a criminal for having a small tattoo at the spa. The irony is that my tattoo is Hawaiian and this is supposed to be a resort honoring Hawaiian culture. I followed instructions and covered it up, but I was only allowed to use the onsen at night (exceptionally) when all guests had left - I wasn’t allowed to use it the day after despite having paid full price for spa use. »

« The hotel itself is very nice. Expedia and the hotel are not in agreement about room sizes, though. When I arrived, they told me 2 adults and 1 child couldn't share the room that I booked with those specifications through Expedia and they tried charging us to upgrade to a bigger room. We were able to get the bigger room without charge only by talking to the manager. We showed that we booked via Expedia with all the details of our party correctly filled out.
