« This is a great location. Close to everything from attractions, restaurants and shopping. The beach access is awesome and the views are spectacular. The only thing we found was the bed was a bit harsh for our liking. We also found in many others of these types rentals some spices, coffee left over from other guests. Not a deal breaker just was odd to fin nothing for cooking. I understand it maybe for safety reasons. »

« A very nice efficiency. It was clean, the bed was good, 2 tv’s, the bath was clean with good water pressure, and the kitchenette was adequate for our needs. The location is walking distance to Pier Park and other restaurants. The only negative is there is not a good view of the beach due to it being ground floor, however the pool is right out the door »

« This is my 3rd time staying at Top of the Gulf, each time in a different room. No matter the room, this place never disappoints. It’s less than a 2 minute walk from your room to the sand, the tool is amazing, and every employee I’ve ran into at this resort is super friendly. 10/10 recommended to anyone looking for some beach fun! »

« Victoria was such an amazing host and did whatever she could to make sure we had chairs for the beach! The house was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I but there was additional space for even more guests if you need it. The house was immaculate when we arrived and she had everything you would need in the kitchen to whip up a meal. The beach is really a two minute walk and is within 5-10 minutes of anything you could want to do. I couldn’t have asked for a better place stay!! »

« Feel like the photos were misleading. Paint chipped walls, flooring coming apart, only view was of the highway, after staying we walked out with a bunch of bumps/ Bug bites. Overall not a good experience and do not recommend. »

« The picture of the windows is not what you see but you take about 10 steps outside your door and you have chairs to oversee the pool and the ocean. The room was perfect and I would love to have the shower at my home. Checkin was easy, locaction was awesome and the pool and beach access was great. You even get chairs on the beach! »

« From checking in to checking out ease and communication was excellent.Unit has the best reserved parking spot in the building.Unit was clean everything you need.Great view of pool.We had plenty of hot water at all times was a plus.Would definitely return.Resort was awesome with great pool with food and a bar. »

« Overall, our family weekend getaway was nice. (Not the best weather, but nothing anyone can do about that.) The view was fabulous—a must in my beach trips. The location was perfect. The building itself was further down from all the hullabaloo which we were grateful for. Super easy and quick to get to the pool and the beach (another must). « This was the second time I've stayed at the property! They have updated the fridge to also have a freezer! I love that they provide beach towels and chairs to use! Overall, this is my favorite place to stay in Fort Walton! »

« I never write reviews but we had such a good time that I felt this deserves the full scoop! While this is a GREAT place to stay, no place is perfect so we broke down positives and negatives Positives: -location is perfect. Gated community with multiple pools. Drive across the street to a private lot that’s right on the beach. Or you can walk. It’s also right in the middle of everything.
