This listing is for a condo at The Summit Beach Resort, it's located right along the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches and within walking distance to great restaurants, a golf course, and other family attractions. The Summit Beach Resort offers guests onsite amenities such as two large swimming pools, Summit Tiki Bar, Summit Market, Bikini Bob’s Restaurant, hot tubs, picnic areas with grills, tennis courts, a basketball court, three shuffleboard courts, and a fitness center. During the Summer, kids can enjoy Resort Collection’s Adventure Zone activities onsite, including fan favorite Dive-In Movies on the pool deck at dusk. Each suite is fully furnished, providing all the comforts of home. The Summit is one of the biggest resorts and offers some of the best values on the beach.

These condos have three separate sleeping areas, Master Bedroom, Bunk Room Area with a door to the living room area, and the living area where the pull out couch is located. The view is absolutely breathtaking. There is a king bed in the Master, a queen sofa sleeper in the living room and twin size bunk beds in the hall bunk room area. The unit sleeps 6 people very comfortably. This condo does not have a washer and dryer in the unit!

College Spring Break Village is on our beach! Next to Spinnaker Beach Club and Club LaVela Hammerhead Fred's Famous Tent Party is across the Street. The Summit Tiki Bar is by the pool and Bikini Bob's Beach Restaurant and The Summit Snack Shack and Convenience Store are on site.

Wasnt what we expected

Got to the condo after 4 pm and condo was not cleaned. Called the number in the email and was told we’d get a call back. Waited 30 minutes all the lady on the phone said was that the cleaner would be there and she had no other things to tell us. Luckily she did show up. Tried to email the company no response. Poor communication and pretty sure whoever cleaned it put dirty comforter back on the beds. Luckily we had brought our own blankets. The facility it self was nice. Good pools. Great beach access. Will say there is a strip club across the road did not realize this until after we got there. Had been better communication with the owners about the cleaning situation this would have been a good stay. Otherwise me and my family did have fun. The elevators at the facility do suck though 2/4 were usually always down. This is like 12 floor facility. Will not stay here again or rent from this company.

My friends and I enjoyed staying at the summit, the beach access, the restaurant, tiki bar, pools, and hot tubs were all great to have with a fun location on Thomas drive. The condo was nice and our only complaint is that it needed to be stocked with a lot more supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc

Loved it

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. Our main purpose for this trip was to relax and get some peace. We have both lost close loved ones this year and needed a this beach therapy. This condo is cute. The master bedroom mattress is really comfortable I slept better on it than my own bed. Shower was hot and good water pressure, I have thick hair so that’s always a must for me. Only that was not in working order was the handle to the kitchen sink faucet was missing a screw and kept falling off. To me it was still usable so wasn’t a big deal. I did let the owners know but also wasn’t emergent. They emailed me back within 1 hour that they were sending it to maintenance. We really enjoyed the balcony view. We there watching the tropical storm and Helene roll in. Thankfully we did not experience the actual hurricane. 10/10 would stay again in-fact I tried to book for my 40th birthday in May 2025 but it’s not available at this time.

Great place to stay and great location. Only complaint us they shut the pool down at 7 every night while they advertise and have literature that states 11. Bummer to not have evening pool access and the tiki bar is ridiculously priced.

Nice place to relax

As mentioned in other reviews the floors could use a deep cleaning but otherwise it was all we needed and would stay there again. The complex was very well taken care of and we liked the location. If you want fancy go elsewhere but if you want a good place that functions for a beach trip this fits the bill.

We had a great time staying at the condo, everything was easy to book with clear instruction and when arriving the condo was as described. We were very happy with the location and felt we were centrally located to all of the fun! We had plenty of space for our family of 5. Would definitely stay again. :)

Much Needed Getaway!

We rented as a gift for our sister and hubby for a much needed / deserved get-away! They loved the Summit, location, fun vibe, and convenience of the on-site bar and restaurant! As we all do when finding our perfect place... we compare price, photos, read reviews, etc. I was a little hesitant booking because of lower price and photos compared to similar properties in same complex. From their experience, if looking for a PBC getaway with great amenities, this place is perfect!

Great condo!

This was the perfect condo for our family of 3! Great price for the space! The elevators weren’t an issue. The actual unit is mostly updated, bed was very comfortable and for the most part the condo was well kept. Our only complaint is that the floors were VERY dirty. If you didn’t wear shoes, your feet were black. I had to wipe my daughter’s feet before she got on the bed or any other furniture. Other than that, the unit was great and wouldn’t let that keep us from staying again!

Exceeded expectations

Wonderful location, very central to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Property and grounds are well maintained and amenities were kept clean and orderly. Security was visible and friendly to guests. The owner has done a very nice job updating and furnishing the unit. It was clean and comfortable. It has a well equipped kitchen and was perfect for cooking, relaxing for sunsets and watching movies after a day at the beach and pool. The management company was responsive and easy to deal with giving clear instructions throughout the process.

My husband and I have stayed at the Summit for a couple years and I think this room was my favorite by far. It is perfect for a couple. It was very clean and I would definitely stay here again.

Good location

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Cons: condo floors were filthy. Bathtub drained super slow. Sliding glass door was almost impossible to close. Contacted the host and someone was sent very quickly to address the sliding door. He was able to make it useable fairly quickly and told us someone would be there on Wednesday to replace the whole door. No one ever showed up, but since door was usable, this didn't effect our stay. Pros: Onsite bar and grill, store, and tiki bar. Location was great. We loved the outdoor grass area that was perfect for cornhole. We would stay here again.

The place was great, had an amazing view. Only complaint is the sink knob was broken and there was trash under the bed in the master bedroom. Other than that, the condo is beautiful and I recommend!

Accommodations are dated but very acceptable. Many updates are on going. View is absolutely beautiful ! People are bey friendly and helpful. Many things to do on site and close by. Will definitely revisit soon !

Great Place/Needs Cleaned Better

This is a great location and I loved the double pools/hot tubs and outdoor tiki and grill. I did not have an issue with the elevators taking forever, there are some on each end as well I don’t think guest see besides the main one in the middle. I would like to make aware the cleanliness was not that great in the room. When arriving there were clean sheets on the bed in the master but no comforter, we did bring our own thankfully. The bunks has sand in them the shower hand sand in it, the floors were not clean at all. I’ve stayed in several places at the beach and there not be any sand in the room. This room had sand in every single room and you could tell it was not swept or mopped. We did have to go purchase a little vacuum because there was so much. I think the kitchen can be a little deep cleaned more, drawers and such. Other than the cleanliness it was a great stay and enjoyable and location was great.

Great stay at this VRBO

Overall a great stay. Condo was very nice with good amenities. beautiful location on the beach and across the street from activities and restaurants. Only issue was elevators being slow and always busy. One was down when we arrived. Other than that I would stay again. I did have to unclog the tub, but no big deal. i enjoyed the place.

Gorgeous view/location/resort but very dirty

We absolutely loved the location and resort vibes here! The resort was very family friendly. You can’t beat the views and sunsets that can be seen from here! Pools were great. Lots of activities during the week like a movie by the pool for the kids, karaoke night, live music, etc. The bartenders at the tiki hut were fantastic. Bring/buy charcoal if you want to use their grills outside. The room was updated but it was soo dirty. My kids didn’t sleep in the bunk beds and instead slept on the pull out couch because the bed sheets were not changed. We found a dirty sock, hair, sand, and handful of whole goldfish in the sheets when we pulled them back. The floors had spots on the tile from spills that were not cleaned prior to arrival. I found an old contact stuck to the wall in the bathroom and swept up a whole pile of sand off the floor before ever touching the beach. More than half the light bulbs went out during our week here and the kitchen light flickered a lot, it felt like we were in the show Stranger Things. I gave 4 stars for accuracy of listing because there was no rug in the property (I preferred a rug for my kids to play on vs tile floor) and there WAS a washer and dryer in the unit. I was disappointed because I did not bring what I needed to do laundry, but this is also a positive that there was one, but the listing specifically said the was NO washer/dryer in the unit. The air conditioner was also frustrating, the auto settings would change what we would set it to constantly. For example, it would auto set to 76 every day at 10:30 despite us having it set to 71/72. Also, unrelated to the unit itself
Be prepared to take the stairs or wait up to 30 minutes for an elevator. I did not mind taking the stairs, we left all our beach and pool gear in the car, but other people were waiting forever with their beach carts.
