Un hôtel qui confond charme et laisser aller.
Ce petit hôtel dispose d'un emplacement génial, mais il faut revoir complètement le management. Les matelas des transats sont sales, jamais rangés et nettoyés, la réception conseille de mettre une serviette dessus mais ces serviettes ne sont jamais disponibles, il faut toujours les réclamer. Nous avions loué l'appartement pour 4, 2BR avec cuisine. Dans la cuisine, seulement 3 fourchettes, pas de bols, 2 cuillers, pas de machine à café filtre et une machine Nespresso à bout de souffle. Les clims datent des années 60 et font un bruit de réacteur, pas moyen de dormir la clim allumée. N'espérez pas utiliser le ventilateur, il fait également un bruit infernal. Le restaurant est un gag, pas moyen d'avoir deux plats servis en même temps mais le check-out suggère un tip de 30%. Seul point positif : le bar, les cocktails sont super bons.

Superbes suites et personnel au petits soins
Les chambres standard sont mignonnes mais situées côté route, mais bien insonorisées, assez petites. Cependant la climatisation étant commune, aucun réglage n'est possible et il fait froid! (À la mode américaine). Préférez les suites situées côté mer dans des petites maisons. Cela fait comme un petit village privé avec accès direct à la plage. Les chambres sont en fait des petits appartements dont certaines avec petit jardin privatif. Très agréable. Personnel dévoué et d'une extrême gentillesse.

Amazing little hippy town. We were in the deluxe one bedroom and we have a own private yard, screened in porch, little kitchen and big comfy bed. It's had all the amenities you want but also loaded with charm. With its own private beach as well as being connected to one of the several restaurants in town. Greta location if you are surf or wind seekers. Perfectly located between several ideal locations. Highly recommend!

We LOVED our stay at Paia Inn! I didn’t want to stay in a super touristy area of the island and Paia Town seemed perfect for what we wanted out of our trip. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive and the room was perfect! I know others have mentioned staying above the restaurant was noisy but to our luck the restaurant was closed for a maintenance issue and we enjoyed peace and quiet our entire stay. The beach access was a great touch and the beach was gorgeous, quiet and we even saw a sea turtle! The town was our favorite part— so many shops, delicious places to eat and a great start for the road to Hana! We will definitely stay here again! Maholo!

The Paia Inn was everything we could have hoped it would be -- from the room, to the private beach, to the service we received from Raya when we checked in. The only thing I would change in the future is ensuring I stayed in a room that was not affected by the music at the connected restaurant, Vana, as it was quite loud until 10pm each night.

I stayed at the Paia Inn for one night due to driving Road to Hana the next day. It was exactly what I needed, but overall hotel is extremely overpriced. Upon checking in I asked about leaving my luggage in a storage room the next day, however I was never able to do so because the front desk closed early and wouldn’t be back until the next morning at 8:30AM, which seems extremely late for a hotel desk. As someone previously pointed out, I too am confused about the amenity charge, considering it is a very basic hotel. Good starting point for RTH, but I’d much rather stay elsewhere in the area or Hana for the cost.

Never again….
I will start with the good. The staff person was extremely wonderful. That’s it. The pictures are a lie. Noting looks like this. The table and chairs in kitchen were old, the only other place to sit was a hard wood futon like bench. Bedrooms were small but ok. It was definitely not bright and clean. You had to walk these back narrow alley to get to door. Afraid anyone in the restaurant or street could go back to our rooms. Just unsafe and dirty.

Super cute spot in the heart of Paia. Clean room and friendly/helpful staff for the most part. Definitely a charming get away with a Beach access behind the property. We did stay in one of the front rooms right on the main street which was a little loud. Next time I would stay in the back of the property other than that everything was great.

Liked the location for the north side of the island and we liked the staff. The street facing room we had was noisy with street noise all night. After the first night we were offered a quieter room and we regret not taking them upon the offer. Plenty of local eateries, but breakfast was less convenient for us. Their Nespresso was not enough. Recommended but don't get the rooms on the main street.

A little of Old and New, Nicely Done
A small but elegant room in the middle of an old style town, a diamond in the ruff for sure, the receptionist was all professional and welcoming. The room looked modern, but the feel and ambiance was from a time long ago, a time machine of sorts…..very glad i picked this one instead of a large chain hotel, cheaper too…..

Just lovely.
Paia Inn was wonderful! This historic building in the heart of a little walkable town was exactly what we were hoping for. They have a lovely secret pathway back to a private beach area that was nearly magical. The rooms are updated, the shower was HOT, and the bed was super comfortable. I’m just sad we didn’t spend more time here!

Wonderful place to stay, right in town so very convenient and walkable and also right on the beach, almost, just down a little hill and across some rocks and to the left and you’re just on a beautiful Sandy beach with great swimming and you’re guaranteed to see sea turtles. But there’s a beautiful garden that overlooks the ocean.. What more could you want!

Beautiful property with an easy walk to a seemingly private beach area. We also loved the walkability to Pa’ia town with lots of shops and delicious restaurants.

The staff was amazing and made us feel welcome everywhere we went! Beach access and availability of chairs etc. was a huge bonus! I highly recommend this specialty, boutique hotel. Go Paia! Go Maui!

The restaurant was lovely. The grounds are cute, but the room it definitely petite. The description did say that the room faces the main road. It was very loud early in the morning. You can hear all of the cars and trucks. It’s a very basic need hotel. A place to rest your head. Again this is for the petite room, so it may be a different experience for the rooms toward the private beach. The grounds were cute but not really kept up. The rate was not worth the room.
