I stayed at Susie's condo for a week in June. I *LOVED* it, but w/ some caveats. PROS: (1) Not only is it an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Pagosa Springs, but it's w/in blocks of some great restaurants on the west side (Rosie's Pizza, etc). (2) There's also a ton of green space w/ full shade off the back patio, which was an amazing play space for our kids. (3) The beds are incredibly comfortable! (4) Cheryl (the manager) is amazing. You can feel confident that if there's an issue, she'll be on top of it immediately. If she was in TX, I'd hire her! CONS: (a) There are a lot of issues that are inexpensive to fix, but inexplicably haven't been. For instance, the top height of the mirror in the master bathroom is 5' 5". B/c of the frame around the mirror, it's completely unusable for anyone over 5' 3". (b) The condo was designed with a low window height & almost no ceiling lights. Most of the condo's lighting consists of lamps & sconces hung at 6'. So the condo is dark. (c) The wifi was poor & cutout frequently (often for hours). (d) The patio is barren, save for 2 dinky, stackable plastic chairs. (e) There's no way to watch ABC/CBS/NBC/Fox. I just wrapped up an 18 mo remodel at my house. Speaking from experience, it'd cost less than 2k to add Starlink, get basic cable, fix up the patio, add ceiling lights in the living room & 3 bed rooms, & fix the design flaw in the master bathroom that's resulting in the mirror being non-functional for most.
