The house and its location were perfect. The checking in process howeverâŠwas not. We were 1 hour away from our VRBO when we received a call from Seabrook properties telling us we hadnât paid.?? We gave all our info to VRBO and assumed everything was taken care of. After at least 3 or 4 phone calls back and forthâŠthe Seabrook folks told us to go ahead and come and that they would sort it out after the weekend. They when that didnât happen, my husband went in to the office and paid the bill in full. Later - the VRBO folks told me that they are only responsible for the deposit and that it was up to Seabrook to collect the rest. I asked them if they had passed on our credit card information and they said they had. They also said Seabrook tried to charge that same credit card But something went wrong. Long story longerâŠthey waited an hour before we were supposed to arrive to call and say we had not paid?? To this dayâŠ.I am still not certain what happened. The house had been heldâŠ.but was not clean when we got there. After all of this the Seabrook folks were very niceâŠ.but did not offer any explanation or remuneration for all of this. I canât say I was impressed
