Your hosts, Susan and Michael, have stayed at Villa Angelina for many years and loved it so much we bought it! We look forward to bringing guests the same great service as in the past and making the Villa the best it can be in the future.
Overall Sint Maarten owes me nothing, the host was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The views from Villa Angelina were phenomenal despite the sea weed rolling in for the week. The local iguanas and monkeys gave my family and i a laugh. Iâll be back thank you for every thing!
This house has the best views on the island, without question! My wife and I personally loved this house. We felt like we were at our own home, that was relocated to paradise! The management company is extremely attentive and informative. I would stay here again anytime we are able to visit the island! Thoroughly enjoyed this house, location, and the wonderful staff!
Overall the home is nice, but does need a little TLC. The view is amazing, you can see St. Bart's, Saba and even Anguilla from the property. The master bed was extremely comfortable and the living area is inviting and open. It's nice that all of the doors and windows have screens so you can open and enjoy
Wonderful stay at Villa Angelina. Natesha and Roger were friendly and attentive hosts, with Roger meeting us on arrival to Sint Maarten and escorting us to the property. The villa, albeit a bit dated, was clean, comfortable, and well appointed with everything we needed. Housekeeping came twice during our weeklong stay and she was lovely and made the villa spotless each time. As has been noted by others, the view is spectacular and unmatched. The pool was clean. The neighborhood safe and quiet. While a decent (hilly) jaunt, it is walking distance to the beautiful Dawn Beach, as well as great french and seafood resturants and cafes. Oyster Pond is a wonderful, friendly, quiet enclave on Sint Maarten. We would 100% stay at Villa Angelina again.
We were very impressed with the property and the responsiveness of the management staff. The villa was very well stocked with everything we needed and the staff was extraordinarily polite and helpful. Kudos to Natesha and Roger Jr. All in all, this was an outstanding VRBO experience.
We just spent a wonderful week at Villa Angelina! As always, we were looking for a Villa with a safe environment, complete privacy with a nice pool and outdoor area. Villa Angelina easily met the all the criteria. It is a large, well-stocked villa with all the comforts of home. We loved the expansive deck, large pool and of course, the amazing view. We were entertained by the daily iguana and monkey visits. It is a great place and we look forward to coming back again soon!
The views are gorgeous. Itâs a picture perfect postcard with a spectacular view from everywhere but especially the master bedroom and bedroom deck. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for an easy and relaxing vacation. Housekeeping is a huge bonus! A very well equipped home with plenty of towels for the beach and pool.
We had the most wonderful vacation at this incredible house. The most spectacular views of any place Iâve ever stayed. Literally could not stop staring at the view. The house is cool and comfortable and well appointed and everyone in our family had a wonderful stay. The owner and his manager could not have been more accommodating or more helpful. I couldnât recommend this place enough and I hope to return in the very near future
The views from the villa are beautiful (as pictured) and the villa is overall very comfortable, although showing a little rough around the edges. It was a little difficult getting in or out of the pool due to lack of steps, and as noted in previous reviews there are a lot of steps both from the driveway to the house and inside the house. For those use to driving in the United States, driving in St. Maarten/St. Martin can be a little challenging until you get used to the narrow roads, lack of parking, steep hills and traffic patterns. A GPS is necessary for navigation around the island, and if you are using your phone for GPS, make sure you have an international plan to allows it to get internet for the GPS during your stay.
All rooms have good Air Conditioning, but we felt very comfortable just opening a couple doors/windows and leaving the A/C off. Enjoyed the iguana's every day and the occasional monkey walking by.
The house was well provided in terms of appliances and utensils, and it was VERY convenient to have the house generator in place to automatically provide full power if the power goes out. During our visit the power company had some issues and we had rolling blackouts every day for 3 or 4 days but didn't even notice it due to the house generator that automatically comes on and shuts down as needed. Would have been nice to have some explanation of all the cameras outside on the terrace and when they are in use, kind of felt like we were being watched.
We had an amazing stay this past week at this lovely home. Great amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen, nice cushions for the patio chairs, and plenty of room. The property manager sent a guide for us halfway from the airport to lead us to the home, and gave us a lovely gift basket. Spectacular views and a private pool made it even better. Youâll definitely need a rental car to get around but once you get the hang of it itâs easy to drive around to the close-by beaches and yummy French restaurants.
The property was well appointed. Extremely comfortable master bed and fantastic view overlooking Oyster Pond, the Marina, and out over the ocean. The outdoor pool area is very large. The indoor furniture was very comfortable. Our host was on-the-spot responsive for any (we had very few) needs that we had. Access to park our rental car inside the garage would have been a nice perk.
Myself, my husband and three children have family on SXM and wanted to surprise them with a visit. Deciding on Villa Angelina was easy when looking at the pictures. I am happy to say that everything was even more impressive in person! Check in was easy, an escort met us at our place of choice (for us it was the rental car company) took us to the house, walked us around and showed us basically anything we would need to know. There is a binder full of useful information- WiFi, security system, checkout info, housekeeping service, etc. The property manager was very responsive, though she was only needed for minor information. The home is extremely well stocked, including the kitchen (any and all dishes and basic necessities needed) and bathrooms-they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, an abundance of towels, and so much more available. And the view would take our breath away every time we stepped outside, or looked out a window⊠just breathtaking!
Internet was very strong, we were there when Phillipe was coming through. Never lost power or internet. The Dutch side of the island was completely shut down but my children were still entertained with the games the have in the home, the TV/internet and pool!
We will definitely book here again in the future, thank you for the wonderful stay!
Exhausted from the flight, then entered absolute paradise. The pictures don't do this place justice. If you've never been to St. Martin, please read the "how to" messages we left in the Guest Book for future guests so you don't waste time/precious days finding things on the island. Beautiful weather, gorgeous property, stunning views --- can't wait to return.
The villa was wonderful with everything we needed for a great get away. Communication with property management was stellar.
The proximity to everything on the island was great while also being quiet.
Try Oasis for great food and stellar service. Herbert is a gem!!!
Beautiful location with lots of privacy. Views were special. We were there with our family 6 adults for a week and would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a spectacular get away.
The house was great for our vacation. The views from the pool deck are beautiful. The house was clean and we really appreciated the welcome basket that was a very nice touch. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Angelina in Sint Maarten. Alan was a very responsive host and dealt with my queries promptly. He kindly arranged for us to be met at the airport, by Roger. This was very much appreciated and took the stress out of trying to find the villa on our own. The welcome pack, which greeted us, was also a very thoughtful and generous gesture.
The villa was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, with spectacular views over the ocean. Sharon came in halfway through our visit to clean the villa and provide fresh linen and towels.
The location is fantastic and close to several very good restaurants for lunch and dinner, which we enjoyed sampling. The villa was a great place to come back to each day after touring the island.
Wonderful stay at Villa Angelina. The spectacular views are the highlight of this property! The furnishing are lovely and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The only suggestion I have would be that the pool be heated so we could further enjoy our time on the expansive deck overlooking Oyster Pond.
This is the relaxing, quiet side of SXM and it is glorious. The views were incredible. Iâm not a morning person, but still we found ourselves leaving the shutters and curtains open in the main bedroom so that we could wake up to the incredible sunrises. The lows were 75F and highs of 80F every day we were there. We bought groceries at Carrefour and had fresh baked pain au chocolat from Zee Best Bakery that we found in the frozen food section (they came out amazing!). The ONLY downside to the location is that you canât really walk anywhere without it at least being a major uphill hike on the way back. That hill is STEEP. We rented the smallest car the company had and it felt like it was going to die on the way up some of the hills on the island, until I learned how to shift the automatic transmission manually, so be prepared to do that! You donât want a huge vehicle if you can help it as the roads arenât designed for it.
About the property itself, itâs beautiful and reasonably well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped, though it could use a few more leftover storage containers (a very minor thing). There are signs of all the storms Villa Angelina has weathered, but you really have to be looking for them. We visited in early January, so the pool was a bit on the cooler side, but still quite reasonable for a quick dip. There is laundry upstairs, too, so the next time we go, we can pack even lighter!
I could write about it forever, but all in all, we loved staying at Villa Angelina and absolutely fell in love with the island. I canât wait for the next visit!
