« Arrived for the visit on a motorcycle on a misty day a couple hours early while waiting for my family to check the location. The homeowner was there finishing the clean and she allowed me to park my bike in the carport and have the property early.property has a nice sitting both inside and out. Only downside to the property is that the bedrooms do not have access directly to common area. back bedroom access is either through front bedroom or bath. »

Sunset views of the bay were great and the ocean was a short walk or drive away. The property was very clean. We are used to renting homes that are a little more lived in, so the lack of games and puzzles (and basic cooking necessities like salt and pepper) threw us a bit. « We were so lucky to find Sound Serenity when our previously scheduled home was canceled a week & a half before our trip. Even though we weren’t right on the beach, the home was an easy 12 minute walk to the beach for sunrise and 5 minute walk to the sound for sunset. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. « This is a great property for those looking for an OBX property that isn’t ginormous. Definitely an updated older beach home, with nice updated decor. Under-house entertaining and game room were nice features. Host is highly attentive. The property is next to a somewhat busy road on one side, but that also allowed for easy access to walking trails. Beach was a very short walk and didn’t involve crossing any roads. We had a great time. »
