The room is not clean. Lots of hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. Bedding is stained and ripped. Air conditioner needs coolant.
Staff was very friendly.
The property is showing its age, the parking lot is in rough shape as well. The room was clean, but the shower diverter sent only 50% up to the shower head, and the tub drained so slow that in 5 min I was standing ankle deep in water. The AC worked great, that was critical it was in the mid 90âs, and for my 3 day stay I was working outside. There was a back entrance that should have required a key entry but it didnât close tight so a level of security was lost. There were cameras everywhere but it might be too late to prevent crime. The attached pub had great food, and it seemed to be a local favorite stop as well. People were friendly. It was priced well for the accommodations and I would stay there again.
We arrived after the posted check-in time and had to wait 30 minutes for an employee to come to the desk to help. I followed the instructions left on the counter which said to use the phone at the desk to reach an employee but nobody ever answered. I tried calling the hotel and still did not get an answer. I ended up having to contact hotels.com help desk and the agent was finally able to reach an employee who said he had been in the bathroom. Once I checked in, there was no apology for the wait. The âsecureâ door to the hotel from the parking lot had duct tape over the locking mechanism so the door was NEVER locked. The room was fairly clean but the bedding had lots of stains. The toilet handle did not work properly and you had to mess with it to get it to flush and then to get the water to stop running. The worst part was at 7:10 AM I was in the room by myself (my husband had left for his work event) and two employees barged in my room. They did not knock, they did not identify themselves they just used their key and came in. Once they saw I was in there they left laughing and again no apology. When we did check out the clerk asked if everything was ok and I said actually no and she just chuckled and said âhave a good dayâ. Customer service fail!!
