The Nespresso machine in the room with free pods and most of all, they had a capuccino Expresso machine in the lobby for free coffees around the clock. Nice & cozy hotel.
Had a 2nights stay at L7, hotelâs location is amazing, just a few minutes walk from Michigan Av, the Chicago River and Millennium Park. The room and amenities were very nice, we chose the room with the huge bay window which my kid really liked and the bed was very comfy. The only negative thing is that most reception staff I encountered were not as kind and welcoming as youâd expect (this is excluding the doorman and luggage carriers which were always very nice and helpful)
Check in was a nightmare. Front desk staff wasnât helpful. Good luck getting a coffee in the morning with the one working elevator. My room was dirty when I got there, hair on the floor and stuff on the sheets. It took my having to ask for towels to get them in my ânewly cleanedâ room that I had to wait several hours for. I frequent Chicago often. This is the least recommended hotel I have for others. The only reason I would recommend is for the location, but even that there are other options on the same 1-2 block radius. Definitely not worth the money.
I loved staying at this hotel! My friend and I stayed 3 nights for a concert. The staff were super kind, helpful and very friendly! They were honestly the best! The room was also very impressive. The bathroom was so nice and very clean. There was a table to eat comfortably and work when we needed. The tv was easy to connect to with my phone. We loved the mini fridge to cool down our drinks with the hot summer weather outside. My favorite part was the sitting area right on the window! I loved coming up to the window and enjoying the view at any point in the day. It was also a nice place to read when we had the chance.
The room is spacious and provides my friend and i to have the ability to share a room but still have some privacy with the pull out couch and the bedroom separate. The reading nooks in both the living room and the bedroom are amazing and a good view.
Had to check in late but when i got to my room so satisfying. Had a river view suite and the was superb. The big corner windows and huge lounging bay window areas were comfortable and an awesome place to have your morning coffee. The coffee station in the lobby was top notch too. Right across from Riverwalk. Bravo L7.
everything great -
lobby area was great design - i actually sat in lobby each morning for an hour looking at all the great design features- will definitely come back
The staff seemed indifferent when I raised my concerns. I was told this is a pet friendly hotel, which unfortunately for us meant that our neighbor that had the connecting door to our room left their dog who was barking uncontrollably and there was nothing they could do about it. They said they tried to call the owner but other than that there was nothing they could do. So while we had a main room and a sleeper sofa, there was nothing that could be done and they told us we could not move rooms. It looks flashy otherwise but the floor was also creaky, the carpet was janky. I feel like it was definitely not worth the price. I would be very careful when choosing to stay here.
Very happy with our stay! It was our first time in the Chicago area, so I didnât know which accommodation to choose from among the many options. But by the end of our trip I am convinced that we couldnât have chosen a better one! The location is absolutely perfect and the river views were a great way to start/end our day. Also helps that there is a convenience store right across the street for anything you may need/ have forgotten!
