Maisons de ville à Ōshima

« Very nice place to stay with a very kind host »

« For foreign travelers , please make sure to check if the room includes a toilet or not. Also make sure to have cash for the vending machines because the ones inside work with Japan cards only it seems »

« One of the most incredible stays of my life. The resort is beautiful with lots of onsens. The staff were very sweet and professional. They were very accommodating to upgrade my room for my honeymoon. The breakfast and dinner is soooo delicious. Highly recommend »

« Excellent service du personnel, très sympathique »

« Need to be renovated on some parts, nice location but breakfast disappointed »

We opted in for the half board option as well. While the portions were great, the overall quality isn't as high as other ryokans we've stayed at in the past. The in-room onsen was lovely and felt very private in the garden setting. You can hear the train go by periodically, but that's expected given how central the location is...
