Grande déception les photos ne représentent pas la réalité des lieux. Un drap est placé dans la fenêtre au lieu de rideau, le divan est dans un état lamentable. Pas assez de stationnement pour le nombre de places à l’hôtel.

La chambre était correcte mais le lit très inconfortable. Le matelas est defoncé. La chambre n’à pas été refaite. Il y a beaucoup de tapis partout et ça sent le vieux.

Very interesting area! the staff were very nice, the suite we were in was in a separate building next door to La Quinta, property is managed by La Quinta and has a separate entrance, every day we had different people sitting on our entrance as it is in a downtown location. lots of eateries close by in an area that is being revitalized.

Very old building (should not be able call as suite, It’s old 3 1/2 appartement) looks like renovation was done quickly. NOISY NIGHT, can hear other room CLEARLY. Spoke with front desk, asked to change room. But front desk ask us to call back management. Breakfast was good, staff is friendly. However, pictures fools us for this 2 nights stay.

The first room they put us in was a disgusting but it was too late to change room since the kids were sleeping ( we got in late ) that room was dirty. the room was not updated and the hide-a-bed was probably from 1960. The morning after I complained and then they gave us another room which was much better. This hotel is in a bad neighborhood we could hear people partying until 4 in the morning at the bar beside the hotel and here at the car going really fast on the boulevard

So bad we canceled! I rarely do these reviews but I feel I need to warn people away from this...Until this property pulls the Executive Studio Suite as listed first in their expedia ad, they shouldn't even be allowed to operate... We arrived Friday afternoon with the plan to stay in Oshawa after a show at the nearby Tributes Center. Upon arrival, we were shown to this "suite" and were immediately immersed in the fog of pot wafting from what must have been most of the adjoining apartments; it wasn't just a whiff, it was all permeating...The suite was petty rough. There was a chair with so many stains on it, I wondered if they found it in a dumpster. We were offered another suite; one of the other 2 as advertised. They were decent, clean spaces. We said we would take the rear suite as it was further from the street- the area of town is pretty rough and we thought it would likely be a noisy street scene at night. By the time we went back down stairs to change our arrangements the rear suite was gone. We took a refund and drove home after the show. It truly was the best option. Desk staff were nice and tried to accommodate but they should not offer the first suite as an option at all. Expedia should not allow this low level option....

In the time it took us to check in three La Quinta customers were checked in. I was never told a suite number: I just tried the first door. There was no ice machine anywhere or a phone in the unit. Generally run down. The sink in the bathroom barely drained. The wifi signal was terrible - couldn't even use it. Pictures don't reflect the unit. Spend the same money and stay at La Quinta next door.

Was hard to find the lobby to check in as you couldn’t find the name of it anywhere... Should indicate on rental that check in is at La Quinta and they’re address... Room was great tho otherwise and was perfect for what we needed!

Friendly staff, suites were so-so
The original reservation made a month prior was not available. Only realized because we called to verify. Staff worked well to make suitable alternative arrangements (ie two smaller suites instead of 1 large one). No hotel card keys available during 2 day stay, had to have staff open the door each time (Which they were friendly and happy to do). Windows in both suites did not close fully causing draft at -10C outside. One bedroom had noise from some electric motor until 4 am each night (we suspect it was the exhaust system from local restaurant below that closed at 3 something in the morning)

Stay away from Oshawa Executive Suites
Travelled with my daughter for a ringette tournament & booked Executive Suites, expecting "executive" quality. What I got was La Quinta! Nowhere on the booking site did it say it was La Quinta! False advertising. Had to check in at La Quinta, then walk down the street to find the door that lead up to my room. Room had dirty floors, missing cookware, missing preparation knives, broken screen window, cables hanging down the wall behind TVs, 2 phones that did not work (I had to use my cell & call long distance to contact front desk), pullout sofa stinky & tattered, room smelled of old cigarette & marijuana smoke. Had to put on my coat & walk outside in the rain, down the street to La Quinta for breakfast. Very disappointed & disgusted with this "executive suite"! Best part of my stay was a late dinner at the neighbouring Wing Addicts on the corner of King St E & Mary St S - excellent food, atmosphere & service.

Nice room but need some a few touch ups
There was no heat in the room but front desk attendant was at our door with space heater within 10 minutes. Hair and stain (not large) on pillow case was a little gross. Water pressure in shower not good. This room has a lot of potential though. They obviously spent a few bucks cleaning this/these executive rooms so FINISH IT OFF NOW!!! A couple touch ups and this room will now be worth what you're charging. Has working fridge, stove and microwave. Wifi works excellent but cleanliness and working amenities is what people need every time they stay awayfrom their own homes.

I liked the private entrance. Very dated, smelled like cigarette smoke. The continental breakfast was not very palatable. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Booked the executive suites and refused the room, right out of a horror movie. They gave me a room at the Ls Quinta which is next door, rooms are updated and clean but the hallways are filthy :( Don't think i will be staying here again..

Very very disappointed. Rooms are in bad shape. Some in my party did not even dare sit of the so-called couch, even less attempt to use the (scary) pull out bed.. looked like a vagrant apartment building converted into a sub-par (for the price) motel...WiFi was stubborn, Cable TV has more snow than the North Pole (when it did not out right crash). Drawers missing knobs, windows that did not close, blinds that were missing pieces, the couches... the couches...had two rooms and both were the same... No room service between the 2 nights stay.

Quirky as long as you have a sense of humour.
To check in, you need to wander into a building of a different name and ask for directions so they can say "oh, that's here too". The unit, while clean, has the feel of housesitting a 1 bedroom apartment in an old building while your buddy is out of town. But.. spacious, sweet kitchen, 2 tv's. Let's call it "charming". There was a shampoo dispenser (neat!) but it was nowhere near the shower. There was a nice desk, but don't lean on it because it's on wheels. There were pigeons outside the bedroom window, cooing mournfully, but let's call them Temporary Pets. Checkout involves standing at the front desk with other confused customers calling "hello??" for 5 minutes before someone who may or may not work there shows up. Clean, cheap, quirky as long as you have a sense of humour. Would revisit, would not recommend to my snootier acquaintances.

Was fine until I noticed the hairs and such in the bathroon on the floor, none of which were ours. That was disgusting. And then the stove and greese and dirt all over and no it wasn't stuck on I was able to move right off

Front staff are wonderfull - helpful, kind, attentive. My room (suite5) needs a little love - new couch, better blinds (streetlights keep the room lit up all night) and a lamp shade on the bedroom light. The unit was clean and convenient to downtown. Breakfast was good!

The room stunk of cleaning product, the blankets were used and stained. The window ledge had ashes on it in a non smoking room. The blind was broken and did not cover the window. The 2 chairs were broken too. Around midnight the alarm went off in the diner downstairs and no one seemed to care? We were told someone would come eventually. It was very loud and it turned out someone left the grill on and left the building. What we did like was the breakfast and location

Run-down "suite" in a noisy college town
Worst hotel experience in my life. Tiny, smelly rooms about the size of a college dorm. Zero amenities (not even shampoo or soap). Very, very dirty with all a dank smell of old cigarette smoke. Adjacent to two bars where local college kids were loudly and drunkenly partying non-stop. Random people were loitering and drinking in the hotel's own parking lot (and under my window) until about 2 am. Hotel staff did not respond. I had to move my car to a nearby garage because I was afraid of theft and damage. It's hard to imagine how it could have been any worse.

These suites are part of the laquinta hotel, so it's a little misleading when you book. Other than that the stay was fine.

The staff were very welcoming, the suite was well equiped and clean, large living room but small bedroom, very nice complimentary breakfast, overall it was a great stay!
