Minutes east of I-43 nestled in beautiful wooded acreage with a short walk to the shores of Lake Michigan. This cottage is on a private drive and a great panoramic view. The only neighbors that are close by are the owners of this cottage which gives this a great appeal for those who value service. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Michigan with a tranquil walk down our lane. We are 12 minutes from Sheboygan where the famous Blue Harbor Resort is located along with several unique restaurants and specialty shops along the Sheboygan River. Sheboygan County has several opportunities for golf enthusiasts including The Bull at Pinehurst Farms, Riverdale Country Club, Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits. Ryder Cup is at Whistling Straits just 20 minutes away from the tournament. For fishing enthusiasts Sheboygan offers Dumper Dan’s Charters where you can take a ride on Lake Michigan for some exciting fishing. Racing enthusiasts? Just a short drive away you can enjoy weekend races at Road America in Elkhart Lake. For those who like to shop we have several local towns that not only have antiques and boutiques but also several good local restaurateurs and wedding venues.

Cottage by the Lake
This is our third time staying at this location. Every time has been a positive experience. We love the close proximity to state parks and the nice backyard. The only negative was a neighbor who was doing concrete work while we were there. This was only one day thankfully and definitely not something the owners could have controlled. We would definitely stay at this cottage again.

We enjoyed our stay. We created meaningful memories here. I would like to visit again! I did have one misunderstanding with the listing. When it stated 300 feet from the lake and showed a picture of a trail, I thought our property had lake access 300 feet away. Although the lake was 300 feet away, it was someone else’s private property. We were able to enjoy the lake, however, at the public access down the street.

My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of our working lives. We found the perfect place, a “Tranquil Cottage in the Woods with Lake Michigan only 300 feet away.” The perfect combination of the beautiful woods and the lapping/crashing waves of Lake Michigan gave us a relaxing weekend. The cottage was immaculately clean and well furnished. We highly recommend this home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay. If you are particular about cleanliness this is your place. The place was immaculate ! It has great natural light and it’s cozy. The decor is adorable and the cottage offers many seating areas. It offers a very quite peaceful setting.

Perfect getaway
we loved our quick getaway from the city to be in nature and relax in the woods. The cabin was absolutely perfect for this and furnished beautifully. If we had more time and it wasn't Christmas, would have been very easy to drive into town or up to Kohler. But for our brief visit, it was enough just to get up and go outside and hear the lake and sounds of the forest. We hope to stay here again!

Amy has done a wonderful job providing everything you need in relaxed, calming spaces. Wayne and Amy diligently worked through an unforeseen mechanical issue and we found them responsive, easy to communicate with, and they resolved the issue. The cottage is spotlessly maintained in a beautiful location.

A little hard to find but well worth the effort. Very windy when we arrived, so quite noisy outside but inside so quiet. Great windows, comfy beds with soft bedding and pillows. Washer/dryer worked great. Brand new stove and refrigerator. Coffee pot supplied with coffee, and Keurig tea pods. Sugar and creamer supplied. In bathroom, excellent water pressure in shower and lots of hot water. Q-tips, cotton balls, floss and makeup remover wipes supplied. WOW! Furniture looked well taken care of, if not new. Good cell phone service. Definitely go to Oostburg Bakery- everything is excellent there. Judi's Place is good and Rupps downtown has good steaks. Honestly, would love to come back for more time and just sit and look out the windows. Or sit on the deck. Again, LOVELY just LOVELY.
