« We stayed at the Peak Hotel for 3 nights & unfortunately did not have a positive experience. While the property is exactly as advertised—a charming historic building with a pub downstairs—it feels more like a pub with a few guest rooms than a traditional hotel. After check-in, there was very little interaction or hospitality from staff. Our biggest issue was Room #1, which is located directly beside the pub’s outdoor patio. « Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Kettle and coffee machine with good supply of tea, coffee and fresh milk. Staff friendly and efficient. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Lovely location for a walking break - we appreciated use of the pub car park before check-in/after check-out. Would stay here again in future. »

« Room was great. Booking in was awful. All young staff, no management visible. Absolutely awful. Expected a bit of noise from pub. But sounded like being above a club. Drum and base beyond 12 midnight. Tea and coffee minimal. Wouldn’t consider staying again. Cleaner in the morning, absolutely delightful. Best member of staff for sure! »
