It is a goal for me to do as much as possible for guests to enjoy their journey at the house and it is fulfilling to read your comments. Thank you. In the countryside, even from several meters far, sometimes dogs comunicate with each other. Thank you so much for your comments. I am happy to know that you have enjoyed your staying at the house. But little sad about the cleaning aspect since I check myself the cleaning of every single corner of the house and I am proud about the conditions I consign It in every checking in. Anyway I always ask to guests to refer to me if something is wrong or doesn’t go as expected. I normally could solve or fix most problems except after checking out. As from description in the site, mattress is made out of kapok and for some people it could be hard. In this case there is a good memory foam topper available if needed. Thank you for your review. It is always a good way to improve my services. Guests usually anounce their arrival with pets. This time I had not records about 2 dogs arriving. One was a 3 months old puppy. I normally provide extra blankets to cover cushions and sofa in case dogs jump on. Most dogs don't. Guests said they have brought with them. Sunday, a day after arrival, water heater lighted but did not start. I have changed the gas bottle just in case but that was not the problem. It is my responsibility to keep the structure in good conditions. I do regular maintenance to the water heater and all appliances. Unhappily problem happened on sunday. Unexpected and unpredictable situation. Monday at 1 pm the problem was solved and water was running at will. When I went with the technician guests were gone for lunch. Both dogs were left closed inside the house, running on the cushions and sofa, then muddy and without any extra cover, dog food spilled around and messy dirty kitchen. Flies. The house was smelling like a big can of dog food. External and internal lights on. I do not charge travelers for electricity cost but I do not like to waste it. I would like to continue with the same policy. Usually guests are concious and concern. Almost all guests though. The house has a real healthy ventilated roof and sometimes there could be lizards, birds or mices going up there. I have my method to send them away. If I only knew it before I could have solved the problem instantly. But they have just told me at departure. In the countryside there could be mices, turtles, hares, or even wild pigs around. Nor me or my guests in the last six seasons had seen any rat. Rats go where there is dirt. And dirty was the house while occupied. Guests have washed the cushions and bed covers. House looked quite in order at their departure. Except that I have to throw away 2 bath towels with spots impossible to fade. Materass was turned upsidedown to hide the dirt! Garbage was thrown not splitted for recycling. The house is decorated with natural materials, antique teak tables, doors and chairs. Some pieces are more than a hundred years old. Beauty that could be appreciated or not. Some could call them obsolete. Matter of taste. Up to now guests were really fond of the charming ambience of the house. About the internet, almost 30GB since ever available this time were not enough for a week. I am very sorry for that. I have upgraded the contract to unlimitted traffic.
