Bien localisé et non loin du st-Lawrence gap. Qui a mon avis serait trop bruyant. À peine 10 minutes de marche du Fish fry. Système d’autobus super pour se rendre à Rockley beach, Dover beach pebbles beach Plage très petite par contre. Pas de chaises mais vous pouvez les descendre. Manque un peu d’information à l’accueil. Restaurant sur place mais avons manger seulement un déjeuner qui a mon avis ne nlest pas super et ne vaut pas le prix. Le personnel très aimable

Merci aux personnels de l'hôtel pour leurs conseils sur le site et à l'extérieur. Leur générosité est appréciée. Les gens sont accueillants. Le site est calme , il n'y a pas d'animation et c'était parfait pour nous. Nous avons eu le plaisir d'avoir une chambre rénovée, qui est plus belle et confortable. L'hôtel est bien situé, près de Oistin où nous avons fait la rencontre de Snow de chez Pat's plate. Le poisson est absolument délicieux! Également, l'hôtel est près de St Laurence Gap où les restaurants sont nombreux. Notre voyage a été parfait.

Hôtel très abordable et parfaitement situé
Hôtel est bien situé sur le bord de la mer, à seulement 8 minutes de marche du Fish Fry et de l'épicerie. L'endroit est propre et bien entretenu. La plupart de personnel est très gentil et courtois. Les studios sont assez équipés pour ce faire à manger soi-même. Les prix au restaurant et au bar sont très raisonnable. Nous avons pleinement profité des deux pour un sur l'heure du dîner et du souper!!! Nul besoin de se louer une voiture, les autobus passent régulièrement en face de l’hôtel (seulement 1$ USD)

Bien situé l hôtel est très tranquille
Nous on était la cette hôtel pour hébergement et prend notre petit déjeuner dans notre chambre ,on partait en marche pour aller sur la plage de sandals tout près car à l hôtel butterfly la plage est très court et beaucoup de vagues un peu déçu mais tu peux prend un taxi moin coûteux de $2.00 par personne pour vous emporté on as aimer notre séjour là-bas c est la belle température toujours soleil

Bon Hôtel en bordure de Mer!
J'ai séjourné à cet hôtel du 24 sept. au 1 octobre 2011, à proximité de l’aéroport, environ 15 min. j'ai réservé «chambre supérieur vue Île», nous avons donc eu une chambre au 4 ième # 418, vue sur la rue, Par contre, c’était un peu bruyant dû au passage des véhicules. De plus, les couloirs sont mal insonorisé. À notre arrivée, la chambre était propre et spacieuse avec 2 lits collés (le matelat & oreiller, serait dû pour être changé, pas trop confortable), et l’ameublement en rotin blanc était en parfaite condition. Cependant, après quelques jours, j’me suis aperçu qu’il y avait de minuscule fourmis sur le comptoir de la cuisine et j’ai également vue 3 coquerelles dans l’un des tiroirs de la cuisine, d’ailleurs nous en avons avisé la réception! Il n’y avait pas de séchoir à cheveux dans la salle de bain. Pour l’internet, il n’y a qu’un ordinateur mais la connection est rapide et le «tout gratuit!, La plage n’est pas très longue, vous pouvez vous baigner à gauche ou à droit, le sable bien tapé, sans algue et n'y coquillages, lors de mon séjour il y avait de bonnes vagues , mais agréable à la baignade. En conclusion, nous avons fait un séjour agréable au «Butterfly» et vous le recommande pour ceux et celles qui désirent un endroit tranquille avec une belle petite plage et où tous vos repas seront pris au resto/bar en bordure de mer, avec une vue Magnifique. I thought that the property was really pretty and the staff worked hard to maintain it. Lea at the Front Desk was simply wonderful, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Cato in Housekeeping was excellent and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable in the room. Cheryl and Beverly, also in Housekeeping were good also. The only negative was the “Unregistered Guests” policy, which did not allow my family and friends to come to my room to chat, as only 2 adults and a child could be ”registered”. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

You get what you pay for here, nothing more or less. The restaurant was a solid 5 out of 10 in terms of taste and customer service. The staff needs to be trained better, they act as if they’re doing you a favor. Overall the island itself is filled with natural beauty but aside from that I found the workers to be a bit rude especially the ones working at this hotel. My best advice would be to spend the extra money and stay at a nicer hotel. Also be aware of being overcharged by taxi drivers.

I have to give 10 stars to the cleaning lady who cleaned our room every day. the person who checked us in, a person in the restaurant who was always nice when we asked for ice a couple times and the lady from the souvenir store (Apologies that I do not recall the names) other than that not a very good hotel either other employees were not friendly. Beach access not very safe and pool area need desperately an update. Jacuzzi’s only working one at the time. Tips if you are staying and other.. 1. Bring your own beach towel . They charge for every time you get a new beach towel. I guess you will be going to the pool and beach every day ? Well if you are staying 10 days like us better to buy your own towel then and you get also a beautiful souvenir from the island 2. If you need plastic bags for some reason.. on our case need it for sandwiches to take to the beach. People at the restaurant will give you ONLY one . I quote " you are not allow to get more than one" 3. Get a room with island view instead .. the noise coming in (very early on weekdays) from the road, specially public transportation could be very annoying… 4. There was a weird smell coming from the bathroom sometimes. There is not enough ventilation in it so maybe that’s what it is? Will definitely stay somewhere else or even rent a villa could be much better than butterfly hotel. Other than that Thanks again for the ladies who made feel our stay better!

Sorry if you were disappointed with our Green policies one of which is to encourage guests to keep their beach towels. We discourage the use of plastic bags just like the supermarket who actually charge if you do need one, so glad that we were able to assist you in a small way. I will have maintenance look into the bathroom report but pity we did not have an opportunity to look into this during your stay as our hardworking maintenance team is at the ready to assist should the need arise. Sorry we did not tick all your boxes but should you change your mind , we look forward to welcoming you back and if not thank you for choosing Barbados for your return stay.

The artwork in the lobby was nice and the room was large and spacious. The sofa bed however had a valley in the middle as it was old. That meant you could not sleep on it as it was hurting your back. The sofa itself also needed cleaning as it had a dark soiled mark going all around it. I met one friendly staff member and that was the young lady that brought us the welcome drink. She greeted us with a smile. None of the other staff members ever smiled. When I asked the female at front desk a question she responded in a manner as if I was bothering her, even though she was doing nothing. The male was very serious and hardly said a word. You knew you were not welcomed The worst was at the bar. First you were ignored by the four females working there. When finally one decided to answer my question she seemed so cold in her response. This was the worst experience that I have had staying at any hotel and I stay at hotels all over the world. I certainly would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Hotel is a 3 star . Requires upgrades as it is tired looking.. but it is on the Beach. I would recommend overhead Fans while dining and new furniture and paint all around. The staff are pleasant and they try to assist.

The rooms are “adequate”, service at the only food/drink location very slow, food inedible, zero beach staff which is nice in the respect you’re not hounded for drinks and not nice when you must carry your own chaise to AND FROM the beach. Chaises on the decks are held INDEFINITELY by early morning towel droppers. Never a seat on deck.

Comfortable, but needs some lovin.
Hotel is very convenient, it’s why we come back. But it needs a real paint job quickly, so outdated.

Voyage en couple
Les points forts : Propreté, personnel et service, équipements et infrastructures et conditions de l’hébergement
Beach location jacuzzi and pool area were great! Bar/Restaurant view was also fantastic. Food was pub style ok. The ambiance on the deck there could have been improved with some light rythmn music (to break up the bar clatter and mixer grind, but still retain the slapping of rhe waves sound experience.) Just stayed the one night pre-cruise and it rates a 5 star for that usage.
