« Room was nice. Staff was excellent. It was the first room from the reception desk making it louder than normal and the doors were very very loud when clasping shut. Every time our “neighbors” went in or out, we were awakened. Breakfast was hearty but no pastries were available. »

I asked to get written conformation this happened to me and all they gave me was $30 free play coins. When I call Expedia, they gave me $75 credit with them. « I will start with the positive. We got massages and the spa was nice. The massages were good. The steakhouse was wonderful and the manager there, the waitress and the staff throughout Oglebay were really good. Now for the not so good: We were there for our 40th anniversary, which they had in their system, but we were given a room in one of the lodge wings that only had a view of the wall belonging to the next building of rooms. « Great value. Room and hotel are clean and look fairly new. Hotel is just off the highway but we didn’t hear any noise. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and shower was good. Breakfast included eggs, sausages, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal and other items. Seems better than a two star hotel. »

« The heat didn’t work , I booked a room with a single queen bed and they wanted to switch us to a room with two beds, there was trash in the lobby, animals outside of hotel and cats in the lobby »
