« Beautiful room and en-suite in a lodge with four others, tucked away at the back of the garden. Very comfortable. Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy. »

« The building is very old. With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). The room was lovely but it was very hot as situated above the kitchen. The weather was forecasted to be 28/29 degrees and I had to ask for a fan. « The food was excellent - both breakfast and evening meal. Full fresh cooked breakfast included in the cost of the room. Proper Americano coffee served at no extra cost with breakfast! I had a glass of champagne with the evening meal and it was chilled, bubbly and perfect. »
