Best of all, Serenity Now is dog-friendly, allowing you to bring up to two of your furry companions along for the fun. Floor-by-Floor Description

First Floor: Features an open and airy layout. The living room offers a comfortable sectional couch with a sleeper sofa, a cozy gas fireplace, and a large-screen TV with cable. The dining area includes seating for six. The Primary Suite is also located on this level for easy accessibility, featuring a king bed and a private bathroom with a large walk-in shower. A laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer is available for guest use.

Second Floor: Designed for guest comfort and privacy. The second bedroom features a queen bed and a toddler bed with a wall-mounted TV. The third bedroom is perfect for kids or groups, offering four twin beds and a TV. These two bedrooms are connected by a convenient Jack and Jill bathroom.

Outdoor Living: Enjoy the fresh coastal air from the screened porch sitting area or the back deck, which features seating for seven people and a gas grill for afternoon cookouts.

COMMUNITY/AMENITIES: Bear Trap Dunes, a community among Delaware's finest destinations for relaxation, rejuvenation, and enjoying the best spoils of beach life. Guests will enjoy two refreshing outdoor pools, an indoor pool, fitness center, tennis & pickleball courts, basketball court, snack bar, beach shuttles with a mobile tracking app, golf pro shop, and Coastal Kitchen restaurant & pub. Voted in the top 5 golf courses in Delaware by GolfWeek and Golf Magazine, Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club features a scenic Rick Jacobson designed golf course set on coastal terrain and abundant sand dunes, providing a traditional golf experience: golf as it once was, golf as it should be.

Amenity Passes are required for use of the community amenities. You will be provided a link prior to arrival to purchase your passes online directly from the Bear Trap HOA. Children age 3 and under are free. There are no refunds of any kind for passes purchased. To access amenities renters may purchase passes at the prevailing rate established by the association.

LINEN PACKAGE

1st Choice Properties provides bed and bath linens for you. Your linen package includes: fitted sheets, top sheets, and pillowcases for all beds; sets of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for all guests; kitchen towels and bathmats for all full bathrooms. Your linens will be delivered to the home prior to your arrival; you are responsible for putting the linens on the beds. You are also responsible for bagging the linens at the end of your stay and leaving them outside the residence for pick-up after your departure.

STARTER KIT

1st Choice Properties also provides a Starter Kit with all rentals. Your Starter Kit includes (1) roll of paper towels, (2) rolls of toilet paper, (1) 3oz bottle of dish soap, (1) dish sponge, (1) 13gal kitchen trash bags. You are responsible for providing any additional toiletries, soap, and paper products as needed.


MISCELLANEOUS

-The maximum occupancy is 10 people.

-There is parking for 2 vehicles.

-This home is pet friendly and will allow up to two dogs, for an additional fee of $250.00 per dog.

-No smoking, vaping, or events are allowed.

-Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

-Check-in is 4PM and check-out is 10AM. This is non-negotiable. Your access codes for the property will activate and deactivate precisely at these times; occupancy outside these timeframes without express permission from 1st Choice Properties is considered unlawful trespassing. 1st Choice Properties will contact you directly the day of your arrival if your property is available for an early check-in at no additional cost to you; this is our standard practice and you do not need to contact us to opt-in to it.

-The property owners we represent do not permit reservations for groups under the age of 25.


DELAWARE SHORT-TERM RENTAL TAX

Delaware has imposed a short-term rental lodging tax at the rate of 4.5% of the rent upon every occupancy of a short-term rental within the State. This new tax went into effect on January 1, 2025. The tax applies to all short-term rentals in Delaware, including those listed on platforms like Airbnb and VRBO.
