L'emplacement est parfait! Nous avions pris une chambre vue sur la plage et ne l'avons pas regretté on était dans le coeur de l'action. La piscine exterieure est pratique avec les enfants car les vagues sont très forte à la plage et ne peuvent pas se baigner sécuritairement. Il y a plein d'activité à faire directement à l'hotel! Par contre, il manque de resto bon marché proche. La salle de bain de la chambre était pas top non plus, plafond bas c'était étouffant et il n'y avait pas de bouchon pour le bain... Dans la chambre il y avait l'air climatisé qui fesait un bruit de tracteur qui partait en plein milieu de la nuit... Et une lumière verte qui flash à chaque 2 sec sur le détecteur de fumé direct devant le lit, difficile de dormir la lremière nuit...

We went for ice skating, it was closed for a conference all weekend. The indoor pool was cold and my 14 year old granddaughter was asked to leave by security because she wasn't 15. Despite me letting the girls at the door I was going put on my suit and be back in 5 minutes. The thermostat in the room was stuck on 84 degrees and despite calling twice for someone to come fix it...I have been staying here for 40 years and will not go back...So sad that hospitality is not a value with them anylonger.

I believe it’s a form of false advertising. I came all the way from Connecticut to enjoy the festivities of the hotel just to get here and find out that nothing that they offer is open but the pool. The manager was very rude and one side had weeks the location I had to pay an additional $20 for I don’t know what terrible terrible terrible.

It's a fairly decent place to stay in the off-season. It's definitely showing it's age, but is clean, well-run, and not exorbitantly expensive. Love the view from the oceanfront rooms, but if you're in the center of the building, with an entrance over the Atrium, it is really loud until 11pm.

Couldnt use pool, too much chlorine. Arcade games, most were out of order. Breakfast bar was just mediocre and outrageous price. People next door were smoking weed.

There were ants in my room. The shower or tub floor had huge rust spots. The charge a resort fee after I paid for the room through expedia. The pool and sauna were closed.

This is an average stay hotel. The check in process was very slow, possible due to the computer system being slow but it seemed to take quite a bit of time. The staff were fairly quiet, not outwardly welcoming or friendly, just processed information as you requested it. The room was fairly clean, however it was obvious no one had gone thru and removed dirt and fingerprints from door frames. door edges, and light switches etc, which were caked with dust. The HVAC was terrible, it was 80 degrees in the room and you could not adjust the temperature at all. Had to sleep with the sliding door to the balcony overlooking the ice rink in the Atrium in order to get cool air in to be able to sleep. There were also young kids, 6-10 yr olds running around the halls and stairs yelling, no parents anywhere to be seen, until 10:30pm when the occupants of an adjoining room had enough and called the desk/security.

Bar and restaurant was only open on Friday and Saturday. Disappointed that was mention about the restaurant and bar considering our stay was during the week. Housekeeping was done one time during our three day stay.

Dislikes-lots of mold in bathroom, dirty floors, hot tub problems closed early due to no rules enforced, unsafe pool and tub conditions due to security and rules not enforced-flying objects, uncomfortable beds, fridge leaking water and ice, toilet disfuctional, phone broken and sink falling apart. Likes- Shower pressure and ice skating availability. Would not come back or recommend.

Property was outdated, food choices were small. Parking was horrible because people come there just to use the ice skating rink

The place has an old charm to it, but the old doesn’t feel as clean as new places to stay. The staff is incredible, but some updates could keep this place around a lot longer!

Great family hotel! Made my son’s 12th birthday a blast with his school friends.. I dropped my credit card and promptly I was called to retrieve it at the front desk. The front desk lady on duty was so helpful and nice ! Will sure to be back again

Upon check in I was charged $9.95 per night additional fee. $19.95 total I asked what this was for the clerk said it is a resort fee. A resort fee what is that? It is because we are a resort, I'm sorry what? They are a resort its in the name. they are a resort you have use of the pool and the ice rink. I am thinking I go to plenty of hotels that has amenities that you are not charged extra for. When we go to use the ice rink we are again charged to skate there is a fee for guest and a slightly higher fee for non-guest. I paid a resort fee for use of pool and ice rink now paying a fee to use the ice rink and a fee to rent skates. Again I ask why all the hidden fees. This time I am told the fee I paid at the front desk is to pay for the maintenance and upkeep of the ice rink the fee I am paying now is to use the ice rink. I felt so nickeled and dimed by them. The heat in my room was so loud it woke you up as it came on and off all night it sound like you left on the bathroom fan which is a sound I do not like the tub so slippery fell, children fell you pay extra for ocean front and the back of the hotel blocks more then 1/2 the view.

Staff at restaurant wasn’t very friendly, the pool area was dirty, it was also very cold inside the pool area if you weren’t swimming, the food wasn’t the greatest, and our room was outside on the windiest day of the year and there were plenty of other vacant rooms inside the building. The Carousel is an OC institution that could use an update. It's conveniently located, pretty affordable in the off-season, has decently clean linens, and is overall very basic. Rooms that face the interior skating rink/carousel area are noisy until late in the pm, but even the much quieter parking lot-facing rooms have paper-thin walls that easily allow any conversation happening in the hallway to filter on in. Having a couch & easy chair in the room in addition to the beds was quite nice... except the mis-matched chair in our room had a weird crusty/sticky stain all over the seat that meant we avoided it. There's rust on some bathroom fixtures, and the carpet has really seen some traffic. Still, a safe property in a convenient location means if you're good without much frills, this is a decent choice.

Dont stay here if you want to sleep comfortably. The room was so hot and you are unable to adjust the temp. The room only had heat in the winter and air in the summer. The room was 78 and the hotels solution is ask for a fan. We had 2 box fans that did nothing. Also the bath tub was full of what looked like rust.
