We usually don’t have a problem with the shower as long as you use the high setting because of the water pressure as we mentioned on check in. Cosy and comfortable bed and breakfast with a large, well lit room with a sea view and bay window. Hosts were extremely accommodating, kind, generous and chatty. Wonderful price for a one night's stay. Would come again.

A delightful stay
We were greeted by Thomas who was very friendly and kindly upgraded us to a larger room free of charge. Thomas was also kind enough to lay a Candlelit Dinner table for us to allow us to eat a takeaway dinner (Covid meaning restaurants were closed) to celebrate our engagement. The cooked breakfast was also faultless. We would happily stay again if in the area!

Lovely place, 5min walk to this cool place
It’s up the hill so you get an amazing view on the walk/drive up. The room was cozy, clean, and very beach chic with light colors. Breakfast was the best I had on my whole trip (as well as the lunch I had at the local seafood shack which was amazing and I’m a snob about seafood). The inn keeper was lovely as well. I’ll be back!

Lovely guest house
We loved our stay here. The host was most welcoming, as was the room, which was immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, with lovely fresh local produce. The location is great, an easy walk from the sea front and from the Tower. Highly recommended

Thank you for your review. On our welcome I told you that the room is a bit small for a man your size. We apologise but it is difficult to change the dimensions of the ensuite shower. Please book a double room next time.

Great location on the hill overlooking Oban. A very generous well cooked breakfast, lots of nice touches such as homemade granolas, yoghurt and jams on offer. We were in a small double, a very pretty room spotlessly clean. Possibly a little small for two people but do able Electric shower not my favourite but it did the job. Would go back and stay in one of the larger rooms next time

The host is very nice, and cooks very good breakfast. The room is a bit small, but is very clean. The location is on top of a hill. View is great, but there is a single profile traffic you have to be mindful about.

Simply the best!
We were welcomed by the most pleasant man, who were also very helpful with things to do/see and eat in Obanzz. The room was beautiful and cozy. It had everything you need, we finished with the most amazing breakfast. I recommend everyone going here.

Stayed overnight before taking the Ferry to Mull. Very warm welcome. The owner was most helpful. Smart place with a well appointed bedroom and clean and comfortable too. First class breakfast. Would stay there again and with no qualms about recommending Failte to others.

Great location. Very quaint. Thomas was an excellent host! I felt like a guest in his home as opposed to a weary traveler renting a room. Accommodations were clean, comfortable and well decorated. The attention to detail was appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful.

Thomas ist ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber, der ein beeindruckendes Frühstück servierte. Sein Haus ist am Hang oberhalb der Ortsmitte gelegen, man ist also sehr schnell zu Fuß am Hafen, bei den Restaurants, und auch der Destillerie. Es ist lediglich etwas steil. Das Zimmer war tadellos sauber, Badezimmer klein aber ausreichend. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Alles was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht.

Thomas and Isabel made us feel very welcome. When booked was told bedroom was last one and was a small double! Nothing small about it. Amazing bed, amazing fresh crisp bedding, everything so fresh and clean. Scottish breakfast was deliciously cooked, husband still going on about black pudding! Thank you Thomas and Isabel

We really enjoyed the hospitality of Thomas the owner! We had the small room, but it was very clean and it was a great bed. The breakfast was fantastic! Close to downtown Oban.

The Failty......Charming and Excellent!
It was a wet, grey afternoon when we arrived at Oban. Although we were a couple of hours before check-in time, we went to Failte B & B to try and get a local street map. Thomas, the host, could not be more helpful. He showed us where to leave our car, gave us a map and also details of the local points of interest as well as detailed recommendations about places to have dinner. The location of the Failty is excellent, a short walk to town centre, distillery and McCain's Monument. The interior of the Failty is spotless and charming. The complimentary chocolate treats in our room were much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent and included freshly baked bread! Overall the Failty could not be faulted. Would certainly recommend it to fellow travellers.

Great Gem in Oban
This bed and breakfast was excellent. The breakfast was amazing and had great selection. You can tell the owners really put time and thought into their menus and all the extras that were in the room. Wifi was strong, the only thing that we had issues with was the shower. We weren’t able to regulate the water temperature, it was either scalding hot or freezing cold if you chose the high pressure setting but you could maintain a somewhat warm temperature if you chose the weaker pressure. This b&b is located centrally but be warned it is on a pretty steep inclined hill.

Elegance inOban
Lovely characteer that welcomes in Gallic its visitors with elegance and grace. The gardens are beautiful. The room was clean in its white linens and offered a fridge and kettle for a tea or coffee. The owner Thomas went out of his way to make every angle of our stay divine. The food was spectacular drawing from local merchants and produce. I was also close to downtown if one fancied a walk up or down hill. In a heartbeat I would return and refer anyone looking for a quaint getaway.
