Two weeks in Loft L
There are so many wonderful things to say about this little space. My husband and I stayed there for two weeks. I can appreciate the firmness of the bed and the pillow. We were right under a mile away from the center, or the cathedral. For people who don’t like to walk this might be a problem, but my husband and I were committed to walking and getting some steps in. It really was not that big of a deal, and it was good for all of the eating that we did. Upon arrival, I learned that the cemetery is about a block away, maybe a little less. Because the cemetery is so close, we had funeral possessions on two occasions. The loft room is right in front of the street, so we did get some street noise, but it’s a quiet part of the neighborhood so overall I was able to sleep through anything. We also use white noise to block any noise out. But overall, it was probably quieter than it would be staying by the center town. Because we were there for two weeks, we were offered free cleaning service. That was absolutely helpful. What was also helpful was the fact that there was a grocery store, a pharmacy, and a great breakfast place within walking distance.
