Muy recomendable
Un hotel muy bonito cerca del centro de Oaxaca con mucho gusto. Las habitaciones y zonas comunes son muy bonitas. El personal es muy amable y eficiente. No son una empresa, son un asociación y todos los beneficios van destinados a proyectos locales de educación 💚 Un punto a mejorar a mi gusto son las camas. Sin ser malas, no están muy adaptadas a personas grandes. El desayuno estaba muy rico pero no hay opciones.

I like that they help youth in the community. The breakfast was good. Beds were hard. Lock on door did not seem really secure. My key got stuck in it. I thought a spa was at the premises. No pool,no elevator, kinda steep incline into and of property. Would not recommend stay if you have mobility issues.

Hello Tamara, thank you for your review. We are happy that you liked the fact that we are a social enterprise, as well as the breakfast. As it is mention in the website you've booked through, we don't have pool or a spa in the hotel (We do offer massages and other services previously requested at reception). Regarding the elevator, we are a 2 floor hotel, and since we are on a eartquake zone we are not allow to have one. Once again, thank you for supporting our social project by staying with us.

The hotel was beautiful and incredibly welcoming. Like most of the Mexico city, it could be a bit loud at night but the hotel provided a white noise machine and ear plugs. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property with helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with varied menus, honor bar for evening drinks and unlimited fresh bottled water on each floor. Quiet and comfortable rooms with lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and good AC. Great that some profits go to help with educational projects for youth in the area.

Lovely hotel with attentive service and a mission statement that makes you feel good about where your money is going. Right next to a delicious market. Note that although “air conditioning” is mentioned on this site, our room, at least, didn’t have air conditioning. However, it did have a powerful ceiling fan, and we were always perfectly comfortable despite the sweltering outdoor heat.

However we are working on adding AC to this room too, since all the other ones have their own AC and a ceiling fan as well. We will love to have you back in the near future!!

The staff, mission, and vibe is amazing. Breakfast was delicious, and rooms are very pretty. Only issue is there’s little noise insulation, so it’s very noisy. I woke up many times in the middle of the night from dogs barking, a phone ringing in the room next door, etc. if you’re a heavy sleeper, stay here it’s great! It’s a bit of a walk to town center but the area around the hotel is interesting and there’s some great things to check out. Good value too, just not a great option for light sleepers

Our visit to Oaxaca to attend a wedding was enhanced by our 4-night stay at Hotel con Corazon. We felt that we had great value for the price--the room was clean, the facility was comfortable, and the staff could not have been nicer and more friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The location was perfect as a starting point for everything we wanted to see and do in Oaxaca. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hello Patricia! We are very concerned about your review. We offered you an upgrade to a King Size Room to make you feel more confortable in it. I'm very sorry that you didn't feel welcoming. Rgearding the hot water, we didn't receive any comments at reception about it, neither from you nor from other guests. Comnunication is key for us to make our guests stay as pleasant as possible. We are located 12 min walking from the Zócalo, next to a local market and La Soledad church.

This was a really cool place. We only stayed for one night, but the room was great, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff really helpful. Plus, the hotel has an awesome social mission in terms of supporting Mexican education. All in all, I'd really recommend this spot.

Loved staying at this hotel. The staff was so nice and accommodating and the breakfast was so delicious. The rooms were nice and clean and the distance to downtown is only about a 10 minute walk. I can’t wait to go back.

Instalaciones sencillas pero bonitas, muy limpias, excelente atención del personal, habitación muy amplia y bonita, desayuno muy rico e incluido (excelente para vegatarianos), ambiente tranquilo. Solo en algunos horarios el agua de la regadera salía muy tibia/fria.

Esta propiedad no solo es bella y cómoda pero con un buen propósito de ayudar a los jóvenes. Está a 15-20 minutos del centro pero en Mexico se camina mucho y se disfruta ver la arquitectura. El personal es amable y servicial, con un desayuno delicioso. No hay duda que volveré a regresar y lo recomiendo. Muchas gracias!!

Nice design, alcohol and fresh water available at a kitchen 24 hours by self service. Very good staff and service. Internet was quite slow, kicked me out few times per day. Very noisy outside till 2 am. Faraway from historic center, min 15 minutes walking.

One of the coolest hotels in the city. Just outside of the busy area, still safe and walkable. Very unique architecture and modern feel with awesome rooftop patios. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay - three course meal, different every morning, and very well made. The only things to know are that the is a decent amount of road noise, but it is quiet from 10pm-7am. And the beds are quite firm.

This hotel has noble goals supporting an NGO for educational projects in the region and also the artistic design of the rooms and common areas is very attractive, however this is not the ideal choice for experiencing the vibrant nightlife and attractions of El Centro in Oaxaca City. The propery is located on a side street which is practically deserted at night and you must walk several blocks to find anything open. The hotel restaurant only serves breakfast apparently. Also be forewarned I was told at check in that friends of guests are not welcome on the property after 930 pm, a very early hour in a city where many don’t dine until quite late. Overall, this hotel supports a good cause and is good for travelers who want quiet away from the busy streets, but there are better options closer to the city center for those who want dining, nightlife, and shopping.

Es un hotel limpio y agradable, a unos minutos caminando de las principales atractivos del centro histórico, a mi gusto le hace falta que tenga Televisión en los cuartos y que las camas no sean tan duras .

I loved the hotel and their purpose. The food was delicious every morning. However, in my opinion, the bed was too hard and uncomfortable for me. Everything else was great!

Hi Tanya, we are thankful that you were part of our social project, which supports Oaxacan children education, at the same time while travelling around Oaxaca city. On the other hand, our beds might be a little firm for some of our guests, as you said its up to each ones preference. Hope to see you back in the future!

Este hotel pone el ejemplo a otros hoteles
Toda mi experiencia fue excelente. Tuve un recibimiento muy amable de Saskia quien nos explicó el enfoque social y sustentable del hotel. Ojalá que otros hoteles sigan este gran ejemplo. Recomiendo 100 por ciento a cualquier viajero que se hospede en este lugar. Los cuartos están impecables y muy cómodos. El Desayuno delicioso. Toda la atmósfera del hotel es divina. Regresare sin dudarlo!
