« Great stay, good location , pub is super friendly, amazing staff »

« Good sized room and the bed was huge. The rooms are above the bar area which was fine as its wasn't too noisy. The car parking is easy as there is loads of space. I used this location as it was a short drive to the Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. the kitchens close about 8:30 ish so if you are late back for food I can recommend the Indian about 100mtrs down the road. All in all a nice location for a few days away »

« A very well appointed pub with accommodation. Good beers and food. Great cooked breakfast. I found it hard to first locate the entrance to the pub car park and, when i did, hard to park up. »

« A wonderful selection of ales. The menu was a bit basic, but very tasty. The room was comfortable, although could do with redecorating due to a water leak in the roof. Helen the bar maid was very friendly and helpful. On the whole, a pleasant trip. »

« Superb place to stay if you’re going to Rock City. It’s literally next door. Great staff and a little shop of sorts selling snacks and juices to take to your room. A mean to cup coffee machine and pastry in the morning is a great touch. »
