Log Cabin By Webster Lake

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Close to town yet you’ll enjoy the peace & quiet with views of Webster Lake. There is a public boat launch down the street from which you can launch our provided canoe or kayak. You can use also the boat launch for your pontoon, fishing boat, etc.

This is a single level open floor plan log cabin with a loft. The main level has a kitchen, dining area, living room area, bathroom, 1 king size bed, 1 bunk bed, and 1 crib. The other king size bed & playroom are in the loft. There is also a queen size air mattress available. We have lots of kids toys, DVD’s, Internet TV, board games, card games, and tea & coffee for those times when you want to chill out & relax.

Great Relaxing Getaway
My husband and I spent a weekend here with our four children 8- 18 months. We all had a great time and the kids especially LOVED discovering all the unique and cool features of this place. Plenty of space for everyone and for them to run around (both inside and outside) and explore. We enjoyed making smores in the fire pit and enjoying the beautiful view of the lake as well as a few activities around town. The host was fantastic and very responsive.

Good time, but disappointing
Very nice cabin for a family group, however, we felt mislead by the description of amenities, and the lack of any indication that there was no A/C. I cannot check to be absolutely sure of this because the listing was pulled during our stay. I would not have booked anywhere without A/C in July in Indiana. I do know that the description stated that WiFi was included, and it had, in fact, been cancelled by the owners before our arrival. Common courtesy dictates that we should have been informed of this prior to the full refund date. The cabin was not ready for our arrival at the appointed check-in time, while this was not a huge deal, it was very much an inconvenience. If this cabin is relisted, the description and amenities need a thorough overhaul so that the next renters don’t feel blindsided and grossly overcharged.

Perfect getaway
This cabin is such a lovely getaway from all the crazy. You can sit on the front porch to easily enjoy a view of the lake through the homes across the street, say hi to the ever-so excited-to-see-you pigs and chickens in the back, and then the cabin itself. It's beautiful, open, and filled with everything you need. Lots of things for kids to stay occupied and otherwise great for entertaining/sitting around a huge table to connect. The host, Kira, was super responsive to my questions and left us a welcome note and a treat specific for our gathering. It was so thoughtful and made us feel so special!!

Definitely a cozy cabin
Our little family (grandparents, parents, and 5 little kids) with the goal of spending some quality time. We certainly got a lot of it in this delightful, family friendly place. The open concept allowed for lots of interaction and designated play areas keep the kids busy. North Webster also afforded lot of easy activities, eats , and sweets. The kids really liked the chickens and playing in the yard. We also rented a boat and spent time on the lake. We went in summer and it was great, but it’d also be fun for in the fall and spring. (And probably the winter too, if you want to get extra cozy). My only advice, relax, cook at home, and bring earplugs if grandpa snores! Highly recommend for family fun!

Wonderful place to stay!
What an amazing place! We were beyond impressed with the amount of room to socialize with family! Also, the wonderful touches available like pre-made cookie dough and fresh eggs, were fun and thoughtful touches. Would definitely and highly recommend, and would gladly stay there again!

Amazing Cabin!
We needed a last minute place to stay for a bass tournament when I happened to see this cabin listed and available. Upon contacting Kira to inquire about how many boats could park there she immediately replied and went out of her way to accommodate all of us! The cabin is awesome, extremely clean and has everything you need! When we come back up north to fish we will definitely choose this cabin again! Thanks Kira!

Fun Cabin Stay for our Family of 7
Our family of 7 enjoyed this place so much. Our 5 kids age ranges 2 to 8 had so many fun places to go inside the cabin and toys to play with! They also got to pick out some eggs and visit the chicken coop. The cabin is so unique in design, and our kids loved the bunk beds. We loved the French Press coffee and beautiful craftmanship table. The owners were very hospitable and even helped us find places to go to around the area. This place will now become an annual trip so we can visit the surrounding area and enjoy Webster Lake!!!

Amazing hosts
These hosts were amazing . They felt like family , wanting to do everything they could to make our stay great . They would tell us about local events going on and offered to grab things for us before we got into town . They truly opened up their home to us.
