Très accueillant. Ils nous ont donné un chalet pour le prix d’une chambre. Le chalet était tout rénové et très propre. Prix très compétitif. De plus, nous avons dû partir au milieu du séjour car ma femme ferait une pneumonie suite à la Covid. Ils nous ont remboursé la différence sans problèmes. Vraiment de très bon hôtes

If I could rate the staff higher I would. Came to see us on a couple of occasions just to make sure everything was ok. Nice having the pool after a long hot day. Appliances in the kitchen were all spotless. Bedrooms were a little tight, but you only need them to sleep. Fully renovated new bathroom and all floors in the unit. Great location, close to Cavendish beach and lots of attractions.

The building Was absolutely adorable! We had everything we required! The staff was very helpful and easy to ask for things. The motel was close to all the places we wanted to go while still being away that it was more quiet and peaceful at night! We really enjoyed our stay!

This motel is in a very quiet and safe area, close to national park. Room is clean and comfortable. Wifi works very well. Very large front yard where you can walk around. This motel has good value for price. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay. This is an older property, but there have been some updates. Very clean. Minutes to North Rustico beach. I just wish there was a shelf, or caddy in the shower. That would have made it easier to shower. Everyone was super friendly, would stay again!

The property was nice. Easy access and close enough to main areas like Cavendish. Would probably be great for a family vacation. Only real issue was the walls were thin and the person in the other room snored throughout the night.

As mentioned by others, this is an older property. We stayed in the Exclusive Suite which was 2 suites joined by a door. Both bathrooms had been completely renovated recently and were very nice! The rooms were all very clean. We appreciated the blackout curtains for the early hours of sunlight. The kitchen provided us with the basics for doing some of our own cooking. We didn't have time to use the pool but it was well enjoyed by other guests! Only negative was that we didn't feel comfortable using the sofabed (which we had planned on) because it looked fairly old.

We stayed here for 3 nights, on our first trip to PEI. The motel is situated inside a national park, and the views of the ocean, when driving along the road toward Cavendish were spectacular, a great place to watch the sunset or visit a red-sand beach. The motel is about 8km from Cavendish, where there are a number of things to do. We enjoyed Cavendish Boardwalk, checking out the beach, and Anne of Green Gables. The motel itself was quiet, and it was cottage-like once inside, with a nicely updated bathroom, and window air-conditioner. Each unit had it's own dedicated barbecue outside. There was also a nice saltwater, heated pool. There were swings and a small slide for kids, but it would be nice for this to be expanded to a larger play structure so the kids could spend more time playing. Check-in was quick and the owners were helpful in answering questions as needed. The negatives were that there were bugs when we arrived, a couple of cockroaches, earwigs and so on. I suppose this is to be expected when staying in what is basically a cottage. Perhaps it can be improved by sealing up the units to prevent access points. The only other negative was that the beds could be improved, as they were not comfortable. Overall, I think the motel provided good value given the location was outstanding, especially if you are interested in amazing scenery and access to Cavendish. If the 2 negatives were addressed, I would not hesitate to recommend this for a stay in PEI.

The staff were very friendly and helpful but the place itself was outdated and needs work done to it. It looked overall clean except the floors were dirty and it has a musty smell before opening windows. It was okay for a quick place to stay for a couple of nights if you’re not spending much time at your motel. It’s not the most comfortable place to be but it works for a place to lay your head at night.

Great location; near town (with restaurants, grocery stores),the beach, bike trails & red cliffs of PEI. Heated pool is wonderful. It’s great that there are laundry facilities. They’ve upgraded the floors & bathrooms, however kitchen is decades old, couches, blankets, curtains and mattresses smelled funny. Staff is helpful and responsive. Note that there are no water views: you have to walk about 500m to see the past the trees.

St. Lawrence Motel was a great vacation spot. The service was excellent. If staying longer I would book a bigger unit, however it was sufficient for this trip. The only down side was that the ac unit was not working in our cottage. Will definitely go back again.

Rooms were clean, but there were bugs
Management and staff were very friendly and, initially, the room appeared clean. Unfortunately, the room has some type of bug infestation. They were on top of the dresser, on our toothbrush in bathroom, in a bag containing my cosmetics and in the kitchen! They grossed us out and we were glad we were leaving. The bug was about an inch long and black. Also, there were water stains on the ceiling, especially in our bedroom.

The service was completely non existent. They never answered emails. Never told us where the garbage was located. Never refilled garbage bags. never cleaned our room during our 1 week stay. Never explained where/how to get clean towels. Never explained how to enter the park. The pool is NOT heated, not even remotely. My pool at home isn't heated and is significantly warmer despite being in the shade and at the same longitude. That said, very clean property upon arrival and great location. The walk to the beach is a bit far, especially in the heat.

Hi Jon,Sorry for the inconvenience, the housekeeping is on request which is clearly listed on the web, and our office open from 8 to 8 daily and I am not able to see you for one time. But our staff should tell you when check-in. Apology for that....I replied the email inquiry about entering the park. I am not sure how would that happen you are not receiving it. Anyways, thanks for staying at our motel.

We were SO pleased, overall, with our stay! Peter and his staff worked very, very hard to make sure their guests were comfortable, and had what they needed. It is an old-fashioned motor court style environment, but the beds were fantastic (and as someone with a bad back, I truly appreciated it!!), impeccably clean, and having the convenience of the kitchenette helped with dining expenses. They are working very hard on upgrading the property after purchase in 2022. Hurricane Fiona damaged the pool, unfortunately, but we were kindly offered other compensation to make up for it, and it ended up being fixed in the afternoon of our last day there. Not having the pool right there throughout our stay and perhaps hoping for more comfortable easy chairs in the sitting area were the ONLY negatives (also, the only reason I gave it only 4 stars... had we known the pool wasn't working I'd have chosen another location, to be honest as I had a 16-year-old in the party). Otherwise, this was everything it advertised itself to be. We were VERY pleased and will definitely go back if we visit PEI again. Well done, St. Lawrence!
