The motel is what I would call a business class hotel. Not intended for tourism; just sleep and go to my next destination the following morning. I only wish they had a simple breakfast beyond just coffee

I feel bad I didn’t get the gal’s name that checked us in, but she was very professional and kind. The room was clean and very spacious, and easy to access from the parking lot. The fridge/freezer and tv worked, and the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The halls were clean and quiet, and the beds were comfy. We will definitely stay here again if needed when passing through.

We checked in and the floor had mud on it. We complained. They gave us another room that had a dirty floor and a smell. We asked for our money back and went to a different motel.

Only One Complaint
The only thing I have to complain about is the 75.00 deposit. the last time we stayed there it was for surgery and the hospital gave us a voucher we were not charged...then this time were HELLO!!! that's my biggest complaint you need to do something about this it just ruins the whole trip it's like you don't trust nobody...

Rooms are new and clean. Beds are comfortable. Missing pretty much all the extras even most budget hotels provide. It would be nice to have Kleenex in the rooms and garbage cans outside. Dog friendly but where do you throw out their poo?

The room was clean and comfortable. Close to Interstate 80 and convenient to services. I had forgotten that Hotel 6 does not have shampoo in the rooms. Next time I will bring my own. I would definitely stay again.

I made the mistake of staying at a hotel without breakfast but that was on me. I was pleasantly surprised with Studio 6. It was a nice place. It was clean and everything was in working except the sink in the bathroom didn't drain very well. The pillows could use replacing. They were very lumpy. Still a good place.

The plus factors include a comfortable king bed, spacious room, quietness, temperature control, and cleanliness. I was especially impressed with the large refrigerator-freezer in my suite. My recommended improvements would be adding an extra pillow or two, adding a wall decoration for a more homey feel, and including a tissue box in the unit.

Nice hotel, no one cares if it’s clean… landscaping is full of weeds, boxes in hallway, stains in carpet. We came with one dog. Had to point out damage on bed from previous person having a dog, chewed edges of bed frame. This could be a really nice hotel with proper care! So sad!!

Your girl at the desk had some guy hanging around and we were giving our credit card info and we were very uncomfortable with him hanging around. At one point they were making out at the desk and he had his pants hanging have way down. Plus the girl sat on the ground smoking outside just unprofessional.

This property is conveniently located near I-80, near LaQuinta Inn and also Comfort Inn. There's a small gas station and convenience store located nearby as well. No morning breakfast, but they do have coffee.

The floor in the room was dirty. I wonder if it was even swept. I certainly was not mopped. There was a half empty bottle of soda in the frig. The check-in person didn't smile (1 star), so I was glad when the check-out young woman smiled (5 stars--all for just a smile and a thanks for staying with us.) Be aware they charge your card an extra $75 hold. I have not stayed in a USA hotel for years. Europe, Asian, and Africa are cheaper and friendlier and (mostly) cleaner although the place I was in Giza a couple of months ago is better left undiscussed! $75 hold. Yup. What? Now I will have to make sure it comes off. This is extra effort, and I am busy--aren't we all? I was so exhausted from a long drive, I just crawled into bed and went to sleep. It was quiet.

Not enough parking. A lot of little things seemed to be missing that you normally expect. No Kleenex, no shampoo or conditioner, no laundry bag. The place was very clean and the staff was nice. It was mostly just little things.

Stephanie, thank you for the kudos for our entire team! To address the little things, Studio 6 is an extended stay brand. The suites are built for those staying 7+ nights at a time. Those long term guests bring all that’s needed with them. Guest laundry is available on site, but not dry cleaning, which is why hotels provide laundry bags. I hope This helps explain why these little things were not available during your stay. Once again, we appreciate you and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Gregory, When booking your room through Expedia, be sure to look at each hotel’s policies. Ours is under policies - important information. We just recently dropped our security deposit from 150 to 75. This is to recoup for any damages or smoking fees in our rooms. If nothing is damaged or smoked in, this is refunded back to you. All hotels do this. We are just more upfront about it. Thank you for your review and understanding. We appreciate you and your business!

Steven, we aren’t thrilled to hear you had to wait for our staff either. We’ll be speaking to staff about this incident. This is not our standard if customer service. We appreciate the heads up! Studio 6 is not a rebranding of motel 6. Motel 6 & Studio 6 are two different brands, and we happen to be dual branded at this location. Essentially two hotels under one roof. Studio 6 is our extended stay brand. It’s built for those staying multiple weeks at a time, like a Studio apartment with all the amenities needed. Where Motel 6 is still the very basic, clean room with a comfortable bed. We hope this explanation helps! See you again soon!
