We are glad that you found our second home convenient for all the fun activities in North Myrtle Beach. I know many people new to vacation rentals do not understand that we are not a hotel, the condo is our vacation home. We try our best in multiple ways to make it clear that our 450 square foot condo is only 125 square foot larger than a hotel. And we make it clear that linens are an additional expense because we do not live in town to wash after every guest. Each time our cleaner rents linens she generally has $40 of damage due to food, make up and sun screen on her linens. And people like you benefit from the option of saving money and bringing linens yourself it you choose. I just updated the welcome book in the spring and do so annually. I have an iron and no one ever used the ironing board so I got rid of it. I have winter guests who stay with us for a month who LOVE our bed and generally changing out entire beds to suit each guest becomes difficult.

We agree that inconsiderate neighbors are frustrating, and as you know that is why in our rental agreement we disclose that while our condo is smoke free, the property, city and state are not. We live this ourselves when we stay at our home away from home.

Many of our neighbors live there full time so they put a lot into the flowers and yard around the lovely pool, so it does create a beautiful landscape in the foreground when looking out at the beach. Glad you enjoyed your stay, come again soon!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We have tried several accordion pull or slide doors and they all had different disadvantages-noise, awkwardness, takes up space needed for passage, hard to clean. We have found a curtain in the door to be the easiest to transit and most quiet option. That is why we think our vacation home is perfect for couples who want a clean, quiet get away at a price you can afford. Look forward to having you back!

Thanks Kim! We have a gem of a cleaner and we do a twice a year deep clean ourselves, something that the big agencies never do. We hope you can visit us again!

We are surprised and disappointed the condo smelled musty. We had just been to the condo 2 weeks prior for the HOA’s annual meeting. We saw the condo was sparking clean at our departure and left it vacant for two weeks before your visit as we had been told there would be maintenance on our building. So if we had to guess, it was musty from being closed up so close to the beach, and fairly air tight which we like because it means it is so quiet and relaxing inside. A large portion of our guests visit us annually and most prefer the bed we have now over others we have had in the past. We have found it impossible to please everyone on that topic.

We are glad you enjoyed our little slice of beach heaven! The sand dunes that are about half a story tall do block the view for people on the ground floor. But they are an important natural barrier for flooding and hurricane surges. We are fortunate SC encourages the dune growth and since Hurricane Hugo's destruction, they do grow higher every year. We want people to come back year after year and enjoy the beach in safety. So do come back, would love to have you as our guests again!

We are glad you enjoyed our quiet sanctuary! Yes, a spot of beach without the crowds makes it the perfect escape. The pool was available during your stay, but we warned you before your stay that the outdoor pool is not heated. We see people in the ocean in January, but generally just see people BY the pool and not in it in March!!! But it is lovely to look at and hope to have you back!
