« Very unclean and uncared for. Had to have fresh towels and toilet paper given by site manager. Had to clean microwave before use. Hairs in bed. B5 o mattress protectors. Shower smelled badly. Broken blinds in some rooms. Stale smell from soft furnishings. Some main lights did not work or lamps missing bulbs. Many other issues. Report sent to Sykes Cottages and awaiting response. Only stayed because a family emergency and venue nearby or would have left. »

« Much as the location and the stunning views are all plus points of the property, I felt some basics could be much better. Instructions of various living do's and dont's, within the property were not available, particularly, with regards to operation of heating controls. important during winter stays.The quality of bedding in both bedrooms was very poor and the 'double bed' in the second bedroom was awful!! it was disappointing the nice 'looking' fire place in the lounge was only a decorative...

« Beautiful location on a quiet country track, stunning big garden . Cottage was the perfect size for us and our 3 children . Spotlessly clean with everything in the cupboards you could ever need. Perfectly located for Edinburgh, The kelpies , Stirling castle etc. We loved our stay ,the owners were friendly and helpful and we got complimentary Scottish shortbread which was delicious. »

Der Whirlpool ist rege genutzt worden, zusammen mit der schönen Aussicht ein Highlight. Für Kinder gibt es Spielzeug und auch einen grossen Rasenplatz zum austoben. Die Küche ist ok, Platz für 8 Personen eher eng. Das Sofa-Bett war etwas hart, aber man kann in der Stube recht gut schlafen. Bäder sind recht ordentlich.
