While the owner was very friendly, this setup felt more like we were intruding on a private space than staying in a standalone cottage. « Room was VERY clean and comfortable for the two of us. I should have paid better attention that there was no stove, just toaster type oven. TV was a bit tricky to figure out, but we did it. The gas/propane fireplace front was really pretty. I enjoyed that very much and didn’t seem to take much to warm the space Would be a nice touch to maybe include a few decks of playing cards, dice, and maybe a crib board. Could be nicely stored in baskets under window seating area? Loved the salt...

« Jessa was an incredible host who thought of everything, even going so far as to include stickers in a gift basket for us upon learning last minute that a four year old would be in our party (among many other small touches around the house that made for a wonderful experience). The property was clean, the beds were LUXURIOUSLY comfortable, and the neighborhood is lovely for strolls and forest retreat vibes. Would totally stay here again! »
