I had seen some Clarion Inns while traveling and they looked nice. But this place is awful. The lobby smells like mold or something worse. The furnishings are old dirty and have cigarette burns. I think I’ll pass on breakfast here in the morning. Also they had a sign up that said refunds are only reviewed Tuesday-Friday during business hours and I was checking in on Friday night so I didn’t dare ask for a refund and switch hotels. Never again. I don’t know how Choice Hotels continues to allow them to use the Clarion name.
