« We had the most wonderful and very special stay at the cabin. The hosts were extremely helpful before we arrived, they answered questions swiftly and gave great recommendations. The view takes your breath away and I got up every morning to watch the sunrise and listen to the wildlife, it was very special and made leaving today very difficult. The cabin is lovely and well kitted out, it had everything we needed. I really could not recommend this place and the hosts enough, amazing, thank you. »

« When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh! »

« This property was everything we could wish for in a lakeside cabin. Secluded, quiet & beautiful land complete with a gas grill, fire pit, porch seating for cool evening dinners, spacious dock for lazy days fishing or swimming and a canoe with paddle’s & various sized life jackets for exploring lake Smith. The cabin was super clean with all of the necessities. The beds & linens are comfy with extra blankets just in case. We loved our stay & recommend to everyone. »

Some comments were “comfy beds, really cute, nice quiet neighborhood, easy to access to the house and Main Street, everything we need for a few days and more, price is very reasonable.” They would love to rent it again. Owners are super sweet, accommodating and very quick to respond if you have questions. We also enjoyed our girls day walking around and bought items from several stores. »

« The house feels like a 'home' instead of a 'rental'. The property is so quiet, even with neighbors. The drive was easy and plenty of parking. A lot of lake houses have steep driveways and even steeper walks to the water. This house has a long, smooth driveway and an almost flat walk to the dock/water. Everything in the house is well built. « The house is exactly as described! Beautiful part of the lake and we had peaceful mornings with coffee on the back porch. The boat ramp is so close and easy to use for your boat. Only negative is the mattresses need to be replaced. We had 6 adults & everything in the house functions well. We brought a Blackstone table top griddle where we made most of our meals outside.
