« We were so surprised. We drove past, were a little unsettled at the facade, went in and still unsure. There is some remodelling going on. During check in, we were put at ease. She was so helpful, engaging & friendly. Then she said, we need to go outside and go through the red door! WHAT? Really? As we were walking up, she told us the place was built in 1883,added a little history and that we had her favorite room and why, then showed us in. SO SURPRISED. « I have stayed at Hearts Desire multiple times now. Sofia and Jason are great hosts, and they have worked hard to establish a B&B that is relaxing and safe. I will come again. I also like that I can walk to the restaurants downtown and even walk the neighborhood for a little exercise. Also close to hiking trails that overlook Raton. »
