« This was one of the cleanest, nicest hotels in a small town that I have ever stayed in. I travel to Texas frequently and this will be my stop every time. The staff was amazing, hotel impeccably clean and the breakfast was not like any ordinary complimentary breakfast. All the normal eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes PLUS tortillas, salsa, cheese, red and green chili to make a breakfast tacos. Biscuits and gravy and more! »

« Oreillers petits et horriblement durs, difficile de bien dormir avec. Pas de sèche cheveux dans la chambre, nous avons demandé à la réception et malgré notre demande, nous n’avons jamais eu de sèche cheveux. Pas de frigo non plus dans la chambre »

« We couldn't believe how spacious this apartment was! Kristi, the manager, communicated with us before and during our stay, and even had a welcome basket with goodies waiting for us in the kitchen. Our unit had a great living room, full kitchen, bedroom with two big beds, and pull-out sofa. And TWO full bathrooms. After a long day of hiking, it was just perfect for the three of us. We fully recommend High Plains Lodge! »

« The hotel is currently under major construction! Flooring was being installed in the lobby during our stay and the property felt like a job site. Guests should be notified of renovations before booking. The bathrooms downstairs near lobby were out of order. The breakfast drinks were hot. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough as it felt like we were dancing around a job site. »
