« What a precious home-away-from-home! It’s a convenient distant from downtown Dahlonega and far enough to be quiet and peaceful. It is perfectly appointed with many personal touches to be far better than corporately-managed rentals. The lush forest around the property and outdoor seating make this rental even more special. We will definitely stay again! »

« Our stay in this quaint cabin was perfect and exactly as represented. It’s well equipped, the amenities were as described and for the one item I needed to connect with the host, they were responsive and as helpful as possible. I’d highly recommend the area, if you are looking for peace, a short drive to many of the mountain hiking trails and lakes. It was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. One note, is the road in and out of the “subdivision” is very steep in a few areas, we had a small sedan...

« This place is clean and very cute! And in a pretty nice area. Close to a lot of stores and restaurants. However, due to a few issues (out of the owners control) we did leave a day early. The renters upstairs were very loud and the floors are very thin so keep that in mind if you stay here and someone else is upstairs. The other issue was the Internet went out the 2nd day we were there and never came back on which means no TV as well! Other than these few problems the stay was great. »

« We came for Helen's Oktoberfest parade. The building has a top floor from which you can see the start and end of the parade. The whole tourist section of the town is walking distance. We really liked that open top floor because the buildings and the mountains (hills) are really beautiful. The shower was a highlight. You'll see if you go there. Three possible shower heads, walk-in with no lip to step over. Everything was really nice, and the bed was comfortable (and really large, king I guess)....

« I had a great time at the cabin. It was perfect for the dogs and me. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It rained frequently so I didn't get to use all of the amenities, but I did enjoy sitting on the covered part of the deck and by the creek when it was dry enough. I would certainly come back again. « We had the most amazing stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The backyard was absolutely incredible the river is less than a 100-foot walk from the cabin and was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We spent time swimming, relaxing by the water, and enjoying the peaceful scenery every day.The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. « Shops are definitely walkable but i wouldn’t call 2 miles “walkable” to Downtown Gainesville. That implies a couple blocks definitely less than 1 mile »
