Family Spring Break
We rented both units (top and bottom) for our spring break with extended family. Location was wonderful, units were fully stocked (including the beach chairs, sand toys, bikes, etc) and host was great with instructions. The only thing I would mention is that the downstairs unit hears every footstep of the upstairs unit. So felt like we were tip toeing the entire stay. Also felt like there were a ton of rules to keep track of during our stay which took away aspects of relaxing on vacation. Other than those 2 things, the units were very nice.

Thank you for your review Yumi. I'm glad you enjoyed both units and all of our amenities. I'm sorry your family in the downstairs unit could hear your footsteps upstairs. I very rarely have complaints about this (and often separate groups rent each unit) but...it is the nature of having one unit above another (most rentals in Newport are set up this way). In regard to rules, I am bound by the city of Newport Beach to state the rules of vacation rentals upon renting the house, it's just part of having a business license with Newport Beach. I'm sorry that made you have a hard time relaxing. Most people don't have a hard time with these rules (no parking behind the garage, no loud noise or music outside after 9 pm, etc...). Unfortunately there are some people coming to the beach to party hard (loud, messy, parking in other peoples spots, etc.) so all of us in the business have to speak to the potential of those kinds of guests when stating the rules for fear we will lose our business license. You were wonderful guests so thank you for that. Best wishes, Lisa

Clean, quiet, and lots of beach accommodations!
This place was very clean and up to date with modern amenities. Plenty of supplies (paper towels, tp, hand soaps, etc) and tons of beach amenities (wet suits for kids and small teenagers, boogey boards, beach chairs, bikes and helmets, ez-ups, etc). There was an empty garage for your car(s) and every night there was a parking spot out front on the street within 50 ft of the house. Lisa was very responsive and super helpful with letting our big group in the two condos. Highly recommend it!

Great beach house for large families
We rented both units for a family gathering of more than a dozen people and had a wonderful time. The place was clean and well-maintained. The owner was very accessible and attentive. The house was well-located and equipped for beach activities, making it perfect for active visitors who want to get out during the day and do things.

Could not ask for more!
As a family that has been vacationing in Southern California for several years, we have never been as pleased with our stay as we have been this year. From booking, to our questions, to our stay.... every part of it was seamless and amazing. Lisa is by far the best host we have ever dealt with. She is quick to answer questions whether through VRBO, email or text, and is even quicker to resolve issues. We had only one small issue, she arrived very shortly after being contacted and resolved it. The home was exactly as described in the listing and immaculate. We have never stayed in a rental home as clean as this one and we appreciated that so much. It was well stocked with everything you could need and not having to pack our cars full of beach gear was an additional convenience. Everything you could want for the beach is provided. My grandchildren would like to personally thank Lisa for the heated outdoor shower! That was an unexpected luxury after years of being plunged into cold showers at previous homes! :D The location was perfect and away from all of the crowds which provided for a relaxing beach week...just what we wanted. Lisa, we will be contacting you soon to book next years trip! Thank you for everything!

Terrific property in a great location
Well appointed home stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Quiet neighborhood, despite its proximity to the beach. Ample parking and conveniently located to shops and dining. Great rental and look forward to coming back!

Great rental property
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculately clean and extremely well stocked with laundry products, dishwashing and hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, paper towels and toilet paper. The bikes, sand toys, chairs and umbrellas were wonderful and kept our children entertained. The hot water and water pressure were great in all bathrooms. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The mattresses and bed linens were very nice. We had a problem with the oven and Lisa came within a few hours to check it out. She is so helpful and responsive. 5 star house and vacation!!

This house was awesome!!!!
We loved this property. It was very clean and well supplied with all the amenities one would need. It is very close to a great beach. It was so nice to be off the main boardwalk and all the crowds but yet close enough if we wanted to go down there and hang out. We will definitely be renting this property again. Wonderful stay!!!
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect (so close to the beach) and so was Lisa’s place. Our adult kids stayed in the unit upstairs, while we relaxed in the lower unit.

Wonderful property and location
We stayed here after running a race. Our team loved everything about the property. It was clean and very comfortable. Super stylish, too. We loved being so close to the beach as well as the market and coffee shops. Highly recommend.

Great house, great location
Nice place. We had both upstairs and downstairs, the only bad thing was going from one to the other. I was impressed by the number of items that were in the house. The kitchens were stocked with everything you need. My grandkids loved the bunk beds. I was especially impressed with all the things in the garage storage area, 9 bikes, surf boards, wet suits, fins, beach chairs, even a tent!

Lisa was a very gracious and accommodating host. She was very quick to respond and no request was too small. The property did NOT disappoint! There was plenty of room for our group to spread out and enjoy the space. We did not have to worry about renting beach toys as everything you could think of was at our fingertips! Our group of family members ranging from 2 to 73 stayed at this unit for a full week. Lisa was very helpful, check-in was smooth as silk, any little things she took care of behind the scenes. The property was clean and had the amenities one would expect from a hotel - plus some extras. For those with babies or young toddlers, there's a baby gate in the upper unit, nice Graco floor-standing high chairs in both units, and a pack-n-play. There's a few great restaurants within walking distance and the beach was so close and very nice and active location. we watched the surfers and the surf school kids. You can hear Hwy 1 if the windows are open but not so much if they are closed. Cannot really hear much road noise from the balcony since it's on the beach side of the unit. All in all, noise wasn't much of an issue. A/C was great, it really helped cool the place down in the evening for sleeping. The kitchens were both stylish and very functional, and had everything we needed as far as utensils, eating-ware and cookware. The bedrooms weren't large but were sufficient to move around and unpack in and organized well to maximize space for accommodating larger groups, and we didn't have much trouble being able to share the bathrooms. Were there any regrets with our booking? No, we'd have done this again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!

3 time's the charm
We like to take our family vacations in Newport Beach every couple of years, along with our kids, their spouses, and grandkids. First time we rented right on the beach. It was a bit noisy and furnishing were older. 2 years later, we rented a block from the beach. The accommodations were better but it felt a bit cramped. Still a very nice place. This most recent rental was further north of the other two, but worked out the best of all; our favorite place by far. It was roomy, with wonderful furnishings, and with a garage full of beach toys, boogie boards, and even a shade canopy with lots of beach chairs. We plan to be back in the years ahead.

Best VRBO Experience Hands Down!
This is our second time staying at this property, and once again it exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO homes, and Lisa is the very best person to work with. She communicates promptly, clearly and is just the nicest person. This rental comes with literally everything you could want, just show up with your toothbrush and you're ready for fun. The location is prime and toys galore. Having all the bikes is and beach equipment is priceless. I can't recommend this place enough!

A great spot!
The property is very well kept, clean, bright and new. Our family of 14 rented both units for an annual 4th get together and really enjoyed the property. The bottom unit allowed a bit of separation for the "20 somethings" in our group ;). The garage was full of beach gear and ~8 adult bikes that we rode to Balboa. Lisa is an amazing host and super accommodating while we visited during the 2nd round of Covid-19 lock downs. She provided ideas of things to do and places to eat, going above and beyond! If you're looking for a location that is a quieter and focused on beach time, this is it!

Note: I looked at about 40 homes in choosing a place for our large group near Disneyland. THIS is the BEST ONE! We were 4 families, 8 adults and 7 kids < 5. This home was perfect. We fit everyone comfortably. There were pack n plays available and even a twin mattress (perfect for a 3/4 year old). There was even a high chair! Safety gate for the stairs on the 2nd floor. We mostly hung out upstairs, it's a larger open space. Lisa was amazing. Super responsive and very accommodating, she got us umbrellas for this rainy weekend. The home is incredible and all the details and five star quality amenities. We took advantage of the beach and short drive to restaurant and coffee shops. Everyone was so happy. Highlights: Every kitchen utensil, nothing overlooked - oil, salt, pepper, spices, bags, etc. Bathroom shampoo and soap Plenty of paper towels Huge surprise in the closet with the container of toys - all kids occupied. TONS of movies - we watched wall-e Baby gate at the top of the stairs!! Family vacation
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful beach house. So clean and stylishly decorated. We rented both units for 15 of us and it was very comfortable. The grandkids and even the adults had a great time with all the beach supplies and the bikes. Lisa was a wonderful hostess and met us as soon as we arrived. Hopefully we can stay here again some day.

Two Beautiful Beach House
I rented both houses for our family of 12. They are absolutely beautiful and so wonderfully stocked. Lisa thought of everything and was so wonderful to work with. The units are spotless and the garage full of beach stuff was amazing! My grandson loved the children’s books in the steps of the bunk beds and the the toys. We all hated to leave. We would definitely rent them again!

Perfect family weekend
We were greeted at check-in to go over the property and everything was pure perfection. My family and I had a great stay with enough togetherness to have fun as a family, but privacy between the 2 units when some space was necessary. Great accommodations for the little ones and tons of extras to help them have fun for our beach vacation. Cooking together in the kitchen was a breeze and we loved the setup! Lisa is the sweetest host! She had anything and everything you could ever imagine needing for your stay at the beach! Gorgeous decor! Very clean and welcoming!

Spectacular host. Got us a new beautiful grill to use on our first day!
This is an amazing set up . We rented both units for family of ten. Fun memories and beautiful weather and perfect location . then Lisa was kind at the last minute we asked to stay past check out for one of our sons family and she graciously oblijed. thank you so much Jan

Exceptional!
The owner really treats you like you are the guest at a 5 star hotel. Everything you could think of is there for you! The home is beautiful and so roomy. My family loved it! It was so nice to ride bikes as a family, not two at a time because you have the rent, We each had a bike to go on family adventures together. From start to finish this house was perfect, great location, beautiful beach, great clean home, all the amenities you could think of! Thank you Lisa we loved the place!

Best Weekend!
Lisa and her home were PERFECT!! We had 13 girls together, each with enough space and beds! We were a half a block away from the beach so for us coming in from Colorado, it was AMAZING! I reached out to see if we could check in a bit earlier and Lisa was so very accommodating, even our check out was extended a bit too upon request! We are already discussing doing this on an annual basis because we had such an amazing time, if there was an option to give more stars I would!!

Loved it
We usually spend 1 weekend a year in Newport and usually stay at the Newport Marriott Villas. We used Lisa's place for a manager's retreat weekend and everyone was so impressed with the location, house and beach supplies. We can't wait to return again soon.

Amazing!!!!
This was my first experience with VRBO and it was amazing!! Lisa was great to work with and her home is unbelievable. When we walked in we were amazed by how stylish and the many upgrades this home had. I was traveling with 12 girls and this home had more than enough room for us to spread out and make it feel like home for the 3 nights we stayed. Lisa has this home stocked with everything you might possibly need for a vacation at the beach. There are plenty of bathroom and beach towels. She even provides shampoo/conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hair dyers, which is a dream for any girl. If you want to spend your day at the beach Lisa has all of that covered as well. There are plenty of kitchen utensils and basics to prepare home cooked meals. When I make my way back to Newport Beach I will be staying here!!!
