« Cottage was easy to find and the instructions to get the keys from the key box were easy to understand. The village is a quiet rural community, up a steep hill from the local pub with no other facilities but it's a short drive into Ashbourne. The property is nicely decorated throughout with all mod cons. The bathroom is as good as it looks in the pictures. A shame that there is no garden and minimal roadside parking. »

« This is the third time we have stayed at Croft Meadows Farm and this time was the best yet. There has been quite a bit of investment in the property since we were last here with new bathrooms and a new boiler. Emma and Matt look after the property and the guests cannot do enough to make sure your stay is enjoyable and to make sure you have everything you need. « We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned.
