Welcome to this truly unique property situated on one of the largest lots in all of PI making it the perfect spot for outdoor entertaining! Enjoy the seclusion of this spectacular, scenic lot while being conveniently located a half block walk to Sunset Club, The Plum Island Grill, The Beachcoma and The Cottage Creamery and only a 7 minute walk to the beautiful Plum Island Beach.

This 1,100 sq ft newly renovated 1st floor apartment boasts a brand new kitchen w. quartz counters and stainless appliances. With 3 bedrooms and 1 bath you can conveniently sleep 7 guests (2 queen beds, 1 full bed and a couch - not a pullout). Furthermore, there is parking available for 2 cars for those busy weekends and hosting large groups.

The welcoming owners live next door and are available for any questions throughout your stay.

Free high speed internet with smart TV provided. Basic local channels available though antenna or Roku Apps. There is no cable television at the apartment. Complimentary premium streaming provided through the Peacock TV app on the Roku television. You are also welcome to login to your Netflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu accounts.

Travel & Leisure Magazine praises Newburyport as “one of the best laid-back beach towns in the Northeast”. First settled in 1635, Newburyport has a long and rich history. Located on the southern bank of the Merrimack River where it empties into the Atlantic Ocean, downtown Newburyport is quaint, picturesque, walkable and has many top-rated restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. We recommend The Grog for pub food, Michael's Harborside for seafood on their open-air deck, The Poynt for small plates and cocktails and The DECK for casual waterfront dining and drinks. Be sure to visit Bob’s Lobster for award-winning lobster rolls and golden-fried seafood and chowder.

***Although an early check-in can never be guaranteed, our cleaners are typically done prior to 3pm and we always message our guests as soon as the apartment is ready. Unfortunately, late check-out is not allowed due to our cleaners strict schedules.

***The apartment is equipped with high-speed internet and a Smart Roku television which allows you to access your favorite streaming services (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Sling etc.) as well as local news stations through the “NewsOn” app as well as select live channels through the “Peacock” app. There is no cable at the apartment.

***We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of our property facing the outside of our entrance. This is not monitored but does record. This is to keep all guests safe and to keep the property secure. Thanks for understanding!

From the perspective of a handicapped person staying in the home with family and a dog, I have to say everything was as expected - except the bathroom. We all managed but the step-up into the bathroom and the tight quarters in there were a challenge for a person using a walker. This was communicated by the owner but I took a chance and managed. It was worth the effort as the sunsets, the beach and downtown Newburyport are amazing places to explore. I was able to use my mobility scooter to access these places as well as the Hellcat Trail in the National Wildlife Preserve. It's a well-maintained boardwalk, which is easy to navigate. The house was comfortable for my family and for our dog, Brady. Thanks for an unforgettable summer memory.

We had a fabulous time at this property. We really enjoyed the fire pit, the surrounding yard and closeness of the beach and ice cream! We would definitely stay with this host again. Pros: Location, surrounding property, fire pit, really GREAT host. Cons: The kitchen is a bit small, but has all the needed amenities, and the room with the single bed does not have a window.

This lower floor rental is unassuming from the outside, but very nice on the inside. The beds are comfortable. The owner’s treat the rental as if they were accommodating family. They really paid attention to detail. Good quality everything The kitchen was very well stocked.

An excellent spot for a group of adults. Cozy little place with enough space for everyone to spread out or get together as needed. Perfect walking distance from the beach, bar, and local shops. No issues.

We have stayed in the area multiple times and loved this location. However for such a significant cost for a week, there should be ample supplies- the unit had exactly one roll of paper towels and two rolls of toilet paper. Bath towels but no washcloths or hand towels, no kitchen basics except a bottle of vegetable oil- not even salt & pepper. There were no books, brochures or personal touches at all. Other rentals for less in the area make an effort to make guests feel comfortable and at home. The check-in instructions did spell out the spartan nature of what was supplied, however we did not receive those until a couple of hours before our arrival. It was like camping, but inside. There were also cobwebs in the corners and the back breakfast area had no working lights or power. The sheets didn’t fit the bed and kept popping of the corners. One thing we appreciated was the pet friendly rental. Upon our arrival, however, our dog instantly became frantic. We finally figured out that the white units plugged in throughout were ultrasonic rodent repellers that were torturing his ears. Unplug them before taking your dog in! The location did a lot to make up for these deficiencies, but it would have been appreciated if we didn’t have to spend time on our vacation just trying to get the basics that should have been there already.

The place was absolutely adorable and very clean! The place was such a great location too. It's walking distance to the Sunset Club where you can watch the sunset and have some food and drinks among other little shops and provisions. The beach is a little bit of a walk, but it's doable. There are parking lots available though. I definitely would rent here again!

The first highlight of this property is it's proximity to everything you might want to do on the island. There is an open social space right down the road along with ice cream, a package store, beach access and pretty much anything you might want to do... All without worrying about parking which there is pretty much none anywhere on the island. :-) The second asset to this place is the living room. The couches are comfortable and it would be a great place to just lounge with people or watch a good comedy with your family after you've gotten a lot of sun. :-) The third assets are the beds. Seriously, the two beds in the back bedrooms are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in which was proven after a wonderful and unexpected two hour nap in the middle of the afternoon yesterday. :-) The owner was quick to respond and it's solid for a small family who wants to enjoy some fire pit time, some relaxation and still be close to things that you can casually get to. :-)

This is without doubt one of the best locations on the north shore. We had a fabulous time exploring the great community and surrounding areas. The people are fantastic and welcoming. The property is great with a wonderful setup and an easy walk to the beach. The place is very very clean and has everything needed to feel at home. We will be back.

The plum island cottage was perfect for our family. Definitely enough room in the unit for several couples and kids to hang out. Easy bike ride to the beach and food. My favorite was a that it is a quick drive to Sandy Point, which makes you able to get a spot in that coveted parking lot at the end of the island early in the morning. The owner was extremely responsive and set up all the comforts for a perfect vacation getaway.
