Formal Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Treatment at Westin Hotel Flushing - June 25 Stay**
Dear Management,
I booked a room at the Westin Hotel Flushing for June 25-26 at a cost of $300. After working all day in 100-degree heat, I arrived exhausted at 11:15 PM for check-in, only to discover my assigned room had **no functioning air conditioning**.
When I approached the front desk and requested to be moved to a room with working AC, Mr. Shamav informed me no alternative rooms were available, offering only a refund. **This resolution was unacceptable** given that other arriving guests were being accommodated.
After expressing concerns about unfair treatment and requesting to speak with a manager, Mr. Shamav stated no manager was available. When I insisted on a viable solution ("You must arrange proper accommodations - it's extremely late and finding alternative lodging now is impossible! This treatment feels discriminatory"), **Mr. Shamav became confrontational**: He stepped out from behind the counter, approached me aggressively, and forcibly expelled me from the premises.
