Valet refuses large SUV’s and had to find a parking by my self. Restaurant / bar of the hotel closed. Hotel would not even provide beer or wine in the lobby. Room was pretty clean and convenient.

Really good services, personnel very friendly and professional. When we ask for something, we get it very rapidly. The lobby is lovely and the location of the hotel is perfect in Manhattan. However, the Expedia add mentioned that the hotel room was renovated in 2018/2019, but it seems older than that. The bathroom needs some love and the little kitchenette also. We were a little bit disappointed but it doesn't bother us that much.

Hôtel décevant
Ayant séjournés dans cet hôtel il y a quelques années nous avons constatez que les prestations n’étaient plus les mêmes. L’hôtel mériterait un bon rafraîchissement.La réception et les espaces communs sont austères. Les frais d’établissement obligatoires de 45$ par nuit pour l’utilisation de la salle de sport, le coin business (mise à disposition d’un seul ordinateur) et le WIFI de base très lent (possibilité de payer pour un WIFI premium) sont élevés et non justifiés. Nous avions une chambre avec deux queen beds comme nous étions 3 personnes mais il n’y avait que deux tasses. L’hôtel est un 3 étoiles. Seul avantage son emplacement près du Chrysler et Empire State Building et à 5 minutes à pied de la central station.

The smell of the room was off putting, it smelled very strongly of old carpet and carpet cleanser. The carpeting was very sticky and I had to wear socks. The rest of the room was very clean.

The room was great, when you go upto the rooms on the corridor it looks dated, could do with new external doors on the rooms to make communal areas smarter. The guy at check in was great however failed to tell me he was taking city tax off my credit card (was just told it was to guarantee the room) also did not tell us we had two free items daily from drinks counter so first day we were gasping for drinks we didn’t get any, only got told on 2nd day as a colleague was checking in and none on the last day as we were out at 5.30 am - when asked if we could have our items from the day before the lady on the desk was quite rude, when checking out this morning there was a guy behind reception shouting & swearing at someone on the phone and a few people in reception! Good base to stay for NYC sights but staff need training in customer service x

Good place to stay that is affordable compared to its nearby peers. Easy walk to Grand Central Terminal for quick access anywhere else in the city.
