Paradise on the water
I can’t say enough good things about Reel Estate! It had everything we could have ever wanted or needed and more! There was even a bottle of champagne and balloon as the owner knew I was celebrating my birthday while we were there. I highly recommend staying here! It will not disappoint!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. Our son’s high school baseball team had a tournament in the Mandeville and Hanhville area for Spring break. The owners were very accommodating and communicative to all our questions and inquiry. location was very convenient for us. This place was all that we could ask for for our vacation.

Awesome Home
This place was so wonderful. Very clean we loved fishing on the deck and the location was so awesome. Was a wonderful spot. Had lots of room for my family and everything you need to cook and BBQ. we will be back such a wonderful time.

Great house on the water
Well here I go again. I’ve stayed at this house my last 4 fishing trips to the south with friends and it never disappoints me. Siobhan, the owner is the best host you could ask for and the house is always in perfect condition. Great views on front and back. You will not go wrong staying there for any reason. Amazing camp!
Great location with gorgeous sun rise and sun sets to view from the porch! Very well stocked and place felt warm and comfy. The host goes above and beyond to welcome you. We will be back!

Great times
This is a great place to stay while we are down south fishing. Just can’t say enough about Siobhan the host. She is SO great to work with and she just keeps the place so clean and up to date. Back and front porches are the bomb. Morning views and sunsets are the best. I will never stay anywhere else for by southern trips. Thanks so mush Siobhan.

Great house!
Our group stayed here while we were fishing with a guide who's boat was about a mile away. The house was exactly as advertised! The owners were great to work with, too. Made everything very easy for us and we look forward to another stay in the future!

Highly recommend renting this property! The Host was a great communicator/ house was very Clean&FUN
We rented for a guys fishing trip. The house was perfect for our group. Clean, on the water, extremely clean and Easy to check in and out of. We caught fish and crabs off of the back dock. Siobhan was very attentive to any questions we may have had. House has everything you need !

Love this place.
I have stayed twice here within the last year. It has everything you need to may your stay great. Very clean and comfortable and a great fishing pier off the back of the house. The owner really cares about making sure everything you need is there and would go out of their way to make your stay work. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen appliances are new. You can't go wrong by resting this beautiful house. Thanks Siobhan for making our fishing group feel welcome..

Everyone loved it!
My family, which included my mom, my sister and brother-in-law, and my husband and our 2 kids stayed here for a visit to explore New Orleans and spend time with our uncle who lives in Slidell. This house was so peaceful to come “home” to after full days being tourists. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and all the supplies we needed were provided. The best part was the outdoor spaces- sitting on the porches (2 choices!) to spot wildlife and for fishing off the dock. Thank you to our hosts for their hospitality!

Family getaway
We came to Slidell to visit family and stayed at this property. We loved it here. Great location to see wildlife and relax. We had an unexpected hiccup in our plans and the owners were very accommodating and willing to work with our schedule to get the most out of our stay. We highly recommend this property!

Great house in the bayou
Wow, what a great place to rent if you like very clean and comfortable house. We came down for a two day fishing trip from Tennessee and love every minute we stayed here. Plenty of room and the back porch was the best to see sunsets. Siobhan was easy to communicate with and offered to meet with us and had everything you wanted at the house. You can’t go wrong staying in this house. Thanks Siobhan.

Sunsets were beautiful and house was perfect for my family.
Owner was great with accommodations for my handicap son. The lift was perfect to get him up to the main level. House smelled clean when we walked in, there were beverages in the refrigerator and some southern snacks on the island. There were alligators in the bayou across the street and birds on the sanctuary across the bayou to the back. It rained most of the days we were there but that was ok, it was great to just relax. Would definitely stay again if we come to Louisiana.

Amazing stay on the bayou
While enjoying coffee taking in a sunrise or savoring a glass of wine over a beautiful sunset, this is the perfect place to relax & get away from it all. Within a short 30 minutes drive to the city, it is an easy commute to enjoy the best of both worlds after fun-filled days. This home is spotless & the owners go above & beyond to have it stocked with so many supplies & amenities so you have everything you could ever need. My family enjoyed the beautiful outdoor views, comfortable furniture, & appreciated all the details & decorations throughout the home. We only wish we had more time to to spend there! The owner was tremendous to work with from start to finish! A perfect long weekend filled with family memories to cherish that will last a lifetime.

We stayed at this property for a week for a nice getaway. The check in process was easy, owners are very accommodating and we had everything we needed for the weeks stay. The kids enjoyed playing and crabbing. The adults enjoyed crabbing, fishing (caught a large black Drum) and enjoying the views and drinking our coffee. It was the perfect distance into town to visit the local Winn Dixie or Kenneys seafood market. Also the perfect distance to all the things we wanted to do. We enjoyed fishing guides, Honey Island Swamp Tour, and visiting Biloxi Beach. Would definitely recommend to any looking for a relaxing get away in this area. :)

Wonderful house and location! Would definitely stay again. Caught crab, enjoyed the amenities, watched wildlife across the street and watched the sunset over the water every night. Owner made the whole process very easy from booking, checking in to checking out. Has everything you need!

Great place. Great locale.
Our family wanted to visit NoLa, and have down time away from the hustle and bustle. This was the perfect place. It was an easy 30 min drive in/out of the French Quarter and wonderfully peaceful once at the house. We loved being on water and the bedroom/house set up was just right for us! We’d come again in a heartbeat.

The most peaceful stay
We had the most peaceful stay at Reel Estate. The pictures gave us an idea of what it would be like but I must say the pictures just don’t do it justice. We actually came to check out New Orleans and we really never left. We caught crabs, fish and even shrimp right off the back deck. The entire property is well outfitted for any adventure. The neighbors on both sides were a complete joy to talk to and their kids too. They gave us tips and tricks on how to catch the crabs and fish and even showed us their techniques. Even gave us shrimp to use as bait and crabs. Wonderful hospitality. Plenty of bed space and the kitchen was so lovely. Everything you could need at your fingertips. Siobhan is the definition of a Super Host. This was truly the best vacation our group has ever had. Waking up and drinking coffee on the swing was probably my favorite part. Hearing the birds chirping and singing. Fish jumping. Just pure magic. We can’t wait to come back again!

Reel Estate PARADISE
This place was amazing! I loved being able to enjoy Bourbon St and The French Quarter(only 30 min away), but not having to stay in the busy area. It was peaceful coming home to a cozy night of fishing after a hectic city day. Everything we could ever need was provided! Only thing we needed to buy was bait and food for the fridge. My only regret is not planning a longer stay to enjoy the house more! Next time we’ll be using the kayak and peddle boat for sure! I loved the personal touch of Siobhan texting me to check in and ask if we needed anything else. I’ve never had a host be so welcoming and personal. It truely felt like I was staying at a friends house, not renting one from Vrbo. We had ages from 3 years old all the way to 50 staying and there was something for every one to enjoy!

3 Generations Family Fun
We selected the coldest weekend of the year simply because all the kids had a break from school. We didn't catch any fish, but we made the best of being together. House is lovely and fully stocked with almost anything you'd need. We hope to be back when the weather is better.

Townsend Family Getaway
We enjoyed our few days at Camp Reel Estate. The camp is great! Conveniently located right on the water, we could park our boat and fish off the dock at night. The house is so cute, very well kept, and had everything we needed. It was our first time to fish the area and my husband and son are "hooked". My favorite spot was the porch swing with a cup of coffee. So relaxing! We do plan to visit again and hopefully stay a little longer the next time. Thank you, Siobhan, for sharing your place with us. Home away from home !
We had an amazing time at this property! House was very clean! beds are comfy! Plenty of toiletries , cleaning supplies, washer and dryer was a BIG plus! Siobhan was such a pleasure to do business with and checked in to see how we were doing ! Fishing was good and caught crab every day! The neighbors are so friendly as well! LA is near and dear to our hearts so no doubt we will be back !

Perfect Getaway with Amenities Galore!
We needed a rental for a week while we completed a downstairs remodel, and staying close to home and our business was important. The Reel Estate property not only meet our needs, it provided a mini vacay. Waking up to the beautiful sunrises on the front porch and sunsets on the dock made each morning and night. Fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and paddle boating were bonuses. The house has everything you need, there was no running to the store because you forgot something. BONUS, the owner, Siobhan is so easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. You will be thrilled you booked this gem.

Great location, great sunrise
We came down for a little birthday week and were able to celebrate the Mardi Gras festival on Fat Tuesday. The house was clean and inviting on arrival day. Even had a few Mardi Gras decorations out with a delicious King Cake waiting for us as well. Beautiful setting on the water, close to town and close to the marina for fishing. Not a bad drive into New Orleans either. About 35 minutes. Neighbors were very friendly, would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Wow! Great place for family and friends
I brought my entire team from my office with me. Included in the group were 4 couples ages ranging from 23 to 48 years old with a year old child and a 19 year old college student. Wow! A great place with 2 balconies, fishing off the dock; we caught a 6.8 lb bass, catfish and an eel. Drove into NOLA for Mardi Gras both days, easy access. Good pots, pans, layout of the house and rooms for an easy to accommodate multiple couples. The owners were also helpful on pointing good places out in Slidell to eat and get fresh seafood. Will be back to stay again!

Clean, Open Layout, Nice View, Very Responsive!
Beautiful open layout right on the Bayou Waters! Fishing/crabbing and water acces right in the backyard, or just across from the front of propery. The setting is perfect for a Picturesque sunrise and sunset view off the balcony. Home is very clean and complete with all necessities. Owner is very responsive and will work to give you a perfect stay. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, for our next vacation!
