The front desk staff were very friendly, but this hotel was disgusting. There was blood in different spots in our bathroom, mold growing everywhere, and the carpet in the room felt wet and left your feet/socks black on the bottom. No fans in the bathroom either so it was unbelievably humid, and the room and bedding was ALWAYS damp. The front desk staff gave us a new room after we found the blood, but the next room wasn’t much cleaner. The hotel is pretty isolated, I would highly recommend staying in a hotel down in the French quarter or anywhere closer to the hot spots of New Orleans.

Arrived around 2:50am and waited for about 10-20 minutes at the front desk and had to call out for someone to come out just to be told we couldn’t check in because it was after 3, the front desk agent who was there the next day was amazing and able to accommodate us even though I was unable to use my original booking. Room was clean but the following day our room was walked into by a staff member clearly looking for someone while we were in the room. On our last day housekeeping knocked very hard on our door several times from 8 or 9am up until 11 with several attempts to open the door and come in. Overall stay was ok for the price

Only one of two elevators worked and the one that did work only went to floor 6 out of 8 so we had to get off and take the stairs. The shower had no temp adjustment, It was always extremely hot. All the floors in the place were dirty and sticky. Looked like it hadn’t been mopped in months. Breakfast was pretty poor. Only one waffle maker so when 6 people were waiting for a waffle that took 3 min to cook, you had to wait 15-20 min for yours or get something else. One morning they had cereal as a second option but the next morning they didn’t. Curtains in our room were broken and half falling down so we couldn’t keep the bright morning light completely out. The side door to get in worked when it wanted to so sometimes we were locked out and had to walk all the way around to the front. Pretty piss poor stay for a best western to be honest and will make me second guess ever staying at a best western ever again.

There were cockroaches and gnats everywhere this is my second time staying here the first time was amazing. This second time I'm not sure what was going on but the hallways smelled wet and I had gnats everywhere. I know in my room I killed at least for water bugs.

the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes, we saw the staff arguing and yelling at each other, and the breakfast was definitely underwhelming. I booked not knowing the area, and our uber driver one night let us know that we were staying in one of the most unsafe areas of the city. we will not be returning

The first room I was given somebody was already in. The second room I was given was not made up. I arrived at 6 PM. The breakfast was cold the warmers did not work. There was no juice no fresh fruit only milk and coffee to drink. The elevator broke on the last night that we stayed. I will never go back.

The whole place was poorly maintained but if I needed a place to stay going cross country I wouldn’t mind staying a night or two. But understanding that the area is still recovering from hurricanes I wasn’t too surprised by the quality of the stay. I just wish the rooms were a bit cleaner.

Hotel Hell of New Orleans! I don't say this lightly. We put the do not disturb sign in the door for no service, the house keepers continuously banged on the door til I opened and I told him we didn't need anything, he proceeded to tell me we needed to tell the other house keepers that so they wouldmt service our room. We left with sign on the door, they cleaned our room anyways didn't leave new towels. The next few days our keys wouldn't work 4 different times so they changed the batteries in the door. Later sat our (unexpected last day) we left at 730 am went out came back around midnight couldn't get in our room only to find someone else had "rented" our room..... A housekeeper that works at the hotel. We were told we checked out early yet their computer supposedly showed we never checked In. They threw out belongings in the hotel lobby, stole our items and refused our money. The hotel smelled like straight weed the breakfast was terrible but these two things we could deal with but the theft lies and deception of this hotel is down right awful. Pretty sure they scam a lot of ppl. 3 different ppl had their rooms rented out from under them after they paid to stay within the 3 days we were there long story short don't waste your time or your money. Was definitely the worst experience we have ever had.

After checking in and going to our rooms my family noticed that the bathroom faucets are in bad shape. The sink faucet handle was broken and the tub faucet couldn’t stop the running water. This location must spend a lot of money paying water. The phone in the room don’t work and there is no TV for the kids. After our stay was over the elevator stopped working, so we had to take the stairs all the way from the 5th floor. This was our first and last time staying at a western hotel.

My wife and I was in a handicap room. I reserved a kind bed room. NOT A HANDICAP, but the front desk lady was so rude and rushing everything she did. I didn’t want to come down and change my room. The handicap was horrible due to the water being all over the floor for not having a regular kind bed room. We were told this hotel will have snacks and the front desk lady advised me they do not have snacks for sale. We had to do everything on our own with getting bath towels. When calling for a towel we were told she was the only one in working and to come get our towels ourselves. We didn’t eat breakfast because if the front desk lady is by herself then who’s helping her make sure the food is done correctly? I didn’t want to stay but already paid through a 3rd party (Expedia) but I will never book this hotel again. Oh yes we were on the 5th floor and only one elevator was working until it wasn’t. So our whole stay we had to walk up and down the stairs.

Overall, this hotel was decent, clean and the staff is nice. The breakfast wasn't all that great but it was free. When I was there they only had 1 working elevator and that was pretty annoying. Other than that it's not bad.

Very terrible, it smelled like weed on the elevator, They put me on the 8th floor and soon as I got to my room door it was already open, the room smelled like old paint, the toilet didn’t have a water line nor water in it to flush, the smoke detector chirped all night and the wall around the ac looked like mold.I took pictures to prove it

I have stayed at other hotels from the same company and usually they are pretty good, but this one is the worst, terrible smell, no toilet paper when i got there, tv remote control didn’t work, elevator dirty. No shampoo, etc. I would not recommend this place.

Not so much
I thought booking at a Best Western hotel would mean quality. The room was stuffy and smelled of mold. The halls were not cleaned and smelled of mold. It took forever to get some towels and covers, if that was even possible because on some occasions the answer was there weren’t any. And whenever we did get some they seemed uncleaned. I had to clean the room and wipe down the counter tops and the bathroom. Not good. Only stayed because it was last option and wouldn’t be in the room for long since we were visiting from Orlando.

Terrible stay. I arrived to a room where 1 bed had been used, a wash cloth, and the soap was open. The pull for the curtain was also sitting broken, in the corner. While the room was no smoking, the entire floor smelled of smoke. The hall carpet is bare in some sections. We went down for breakfast at 8:10 and breakfast was over, even though it was supposed to end at 9. Then a male worker started entering the room WHILE he was knocking. Knock first, then wait for an answer!
