Lake Living at its best with beautiful views of Badin Lake, 1 hour away from Charlotte & 2 hours away from Raleigh.
Come settle right in with your friends & family with an expansive deck overlooking the lake.
For the fun to continue there is a game room that includes Basketball, Foosball, Pool table, Air Hockey and Ping Pong table. Enjoy the Karoke system/guitar and wear your singing hats on. We have PS-4 in the family room where games have been downloaded. Enjoy the shared pier and boat slip.
Our goal is for you to have the most memorable experience while staying with us.

Lakeside Oasis
Our family had a wonderful vacation at M&D's Lakeshore Bliss! After visiting the NC Zoo, this was a perfect location to extend our family fun with great water views and plenty of outdoor and indoor amenities. We especially enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and lounging on the screened-in porch. The game room was a big hit for all ages - Pop-a-Shot basketball, karaoke, air hockey, ping pong, pool and so much more. The house was immaculate and the hosts were exceptionally accommodating and responsive. Our family highly recommends this lakeside oasis!!

Wonderful property and amazing host!
We had a wonderful time at the property this week! The house was immaculate and even larger than we expected, there were 15 of us and everyone had sleeping accommodations and not once did we feel cramped for space. The game room was the best I’ve seen and a big hit with the family and the additional 2 bedroom suite attached made for a wonderful place for any family or friends who want their own space. The host was incredible and included a hand written welcome note and small offerings like gummies and microwave popcorn as well as plenty of linens and small and even toothpaste in case anyone forgot theirs. We have already spoken to the host about planning our next stay at this incredible property.

I reserved the house for a family vacation of 8–12 people from the age of 10–75 years. It rained 3 days out of 5 days, so we were not able to do all the things we hoped to do. They were still able to fish because a part of the pier was covered. One of the days they were able to play with their remote-controlled Boat and Drone. They were also able to go out on the paddle boards and kayaks. On those rainy days the Game Room was a great hit for all ages.Some of us even learn how to play Pool. The layout of the house was great. It was like you had your own hotel room with living area and a bonus of 2 kitchens and decks. Plenty of room for everyone. As mentioned in other review there is only one bedroom on main level and steep steps going upstairs and downstairs (as they are in most houses) just be careful using them with socks on. Well cleaned and stocked with necessary items. Easy communication with the host Diana. Would definitely rent again.

Spacious with let's of activities
I reserved this property for ten family members ranging from 17-80 and everyone had an excellent time. There are 2 kayaks and 2 SUPs plus a bunch of other floating things available and plenty of life vest in various sizes. Two of my family members have severe pet allergies, so I chose this property partially because pets are not allowed. But beyond that, the house had been meticulously cleaned before our arrival. I think the cleanliness level would satisfy even the most picky mysophobe. The host Diana is excellent with communication and offered both early check-in and late check-out without me asking. There is only one bedroom on the main level, so keep that in mind if your group has mobility issues. There are rather steep steps both up and down to the other bedrooms. If you are concerned about privacy in the one bedroom with glass doors, it is really not a big deal. Closing the single solid door closes off both the bedroom and the connected living room. The kitchen layout and available appliances are excellent. However, for a house of this size, it would have been nice to have a few larger items to cook for a group of 10+. We made it work with what was available, but I wish it had one 16 qt stockpot, 1-2 sheet pans about the size of the oven rack, 1-2 large serving platters, a few medium sized tongs, 1-2 large cutting boards. The knives are above average for a rental, but if you want a high quality chefs knife, bring your own. The game room is really awesome!
