« This hotel was th absolute best. I had no idea when we booked how special it was. From the start of me getting there they were so kind and helping. Let us check in early. Go to our room and it’s beautiful and spacious and just adorable. They have snacks and drinks to buy in the room if you’d like that aren’t stupid expensive. « I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville. »
