When we turned the bed linen down there was a live bed but on the sheet. I called the desk and asked for a different room and was told they were sold out. Needless to say we did not stay at this property. Expedia tried to get a refund but the manager refused. Don't stay here, you may bring home bed bugs with you. The Fairfield Inn is 2 minutes away and MUCH NICER.

I was directed on the map to the quality inn in sawyer and upon check in nobody told me I was at the wrong quality inn.. now awaiting a refund for this terrible customer service and Expedia is trying to get general manager at the new buffalo mi location give me a refund. The room was big, but everything else outside of the room was dirty especially the elevator. The breakfast area was smaller than expected and the food was dried out and the donuts were stale and hard.

This Hotel was excellent in every regard. We stay at a lot of sub-$100 hotels. Many in this bracket have degraded since Covid - under staffed, deferred maintenance, etc.. This Quality Inn was a pleasant surprise and I highly recommend it.

There's something called a Super Inn between the Quality and Baymont that looked sketchy. The pool and hot tub were closed due to the recent deep freeze. My room was nice and staff was friendly

When looking for a hotel for this stay I specifically filtered for properties with indoor pool and hot tub. Plan was to arrive at check in time and use the amenities. However the pool and hot tub were closed and under repair. This would have been great to know when booking. This is the 3rd time we’ve booked through Expedia and arrived at the property to find that the properties amenities we were looking forward to were closed and not available for use, which if known would have changed our plan.

There was a horrible smell as soon as u walk into the lobby/registration area. Smelled like garbage/something dead. I mentioned it to the person at the desk which stated maintenance is working on it. There was lemon water and coffee set up and offered in the lobby. I helped myself to the lemon water and when I got to the bottom of the cup, there was black mold looking floating stuff in the bottom of the cup. The hotels pool/hot tub was closed as well for repairs. I booked this location for the pool/hot tub.I feel I should have been told this prior to check in. The hotel next door (baymont) was letting the guest of this hotel use their pool facilities. The room smelled like mold/mildew and was not cleaned well. There was tooth paste splattered on the bathroom mirror, dir, hair on the bathroom floor, stains on the floor. Grout dirty and stained. Stains in the carpet, I took pics of these issues.

Hello Kimberly, first and foremost, on behalf of all of us, we apologize for your experience at our hotel. We constantly strive to keep our hotel clean and functioning. The garbage in our lobby is constantly being changed to avoid unpleasant smells. I have talked to all of my employees to use all cleanliness precautions and remake anything that doesn't fit the Quality standards. We are also working on getting our pool back up and running ASAP. As for your room, I have talked to my housekeeping about these issues so they can be prevented in the future. We always encourage guests to come to the front desk and inform us of any issues you have with the room so we can come to a solution together. None of our staff was informed about these issues or else we would've been more than happy to switch your room or get it recleaned. We do hope you give us another chance in the future to give you the lovely stay you deserve. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

We stayed here as the nearby casino was much more than we wanted to pay for twin nights. We had stayed here once before and chose a t again. The price was reasonable, the room clean there were grab bars in the bathroom which surprised us as we didn't ask for handicap access. There was a shuttle available if desired.
