« Very pet friendly »

« Lovely old property . Nicely decorated. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately my bathroom needed refurbishing the bath was chipped and bath taps loose and parts missing. The window frame was rusty and needed painting. A shame because room decor was pleasant. »

« Location very good, staff pleasant. »

« Great location about 10 minutes drive into the City. Large, clean room with tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in fridge & bottled water too. Quirky room as part of an old pub so floors a little uneven and steepish staircase to get to rooms, but didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast was delicious and staff all extremely friendly & helpful. As it’s a pub, you are obviously aware of noises from the pub during the day and evening but as soon as it closes, it’s very quiet. »

« Except the breakfast (all is there but teast not), the place is nice, mainly because the team on site is really helpful, pro and friendly. That made my stay great. Thanks a lot »

Personnel aimable. »

« Hotel not as quiet as I'd hoped, but situated opposite the wonderful Tewkesnury Abbey. Good breakfast ! »

« A beautiful hotel which has retained original features. All staff were wonderful. We stayed for 2 nights in a suite overlooking the river ...gorgeous! Our ensuite room was huge with a very big and comfortable 4 poster bed. All areas were clean and warm. The hot breakfast was made to order and was piping hot. A rareity these days ! A wonderful hotel which we will have no hesitation staying here again. 10/10 »
