Escape to this perfect retreat situated on the middle floor with magical views and direct access to the beach. No roads to cross – just a grassy reserve between you and the beautiful waters and white sands of Shoal Bay Beach; or if you prefer just a quick stroll to Little Beach with its calm waters for littlies, plenty of sand for building castles, grassy areas with BBQs, a playground for the kids, a boat ramp and jetty.

The north-facing covered balcony overlooks the headlands of Port Stephens and provides uninterrupted views of the Bay as well as the serenity of the treetops and park nearby. Sunrise on the balcony is always spectacular. The sound of waves lapping the shore will lull you to sleep. The amazing water views and parkscape are also captured from the large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area as well as the two bedrooms.

Newly refurbished and stylishly and comfortably decorated with 3 seater sofa/chaise, beds, mattresses, pillows, quilts. WIFI, 53cm HD flatscreen TV, additional TV in bedroom; internal laundry with washing machine and dryer; dining area and breakfast bar; fully equipped stylish new kitchen with dishwasher, cooktop and oven, microwave, ceiling fans throughout, separate toilet and basin.

A remote controlled deep garage plus one allocated open car space for your boat or jet-ski; park the car and walk to clubs, marina, lighthouse, coffee shops, restaurants, activities. Everything you could need is close-by and within walking distance.

The property is fully self contained and is NOT serviced.

**Bed and bath linen is provided at the unit – we provide pillows, pillow protectors, doonas or coverlets and covers, sheets, pillowcases and towels. A limited supply of toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc may be supplied and therefore we recommend you bring your own with you to avoid running out.**

No pets, no party and no excessive noise policy is in place.

We loved staying here over Easter. It was so relaxing looking over the bay or simply walking out to the beach. A short 10 minute walk along the beach or the parallel bush track takes you to to the Shoal Bay shops and cafes. And 15 minutes walking the other direction takes you to Nelson Bay. The unit is thoughtfully and very comfortably furnished with everything you need in the kitchen, including pantry items. Janet is a friendly and proactive host who responded quickly to email and text. We would love to stay here again soon!

Really enjoyed our stay here for 6 nights and could have stayed another week. Location was perfect, with a 30 second walk through the reserve to get to Shoal Bay Beach and a 4 minute walk to the left of the apartment to get to Little Beach. The apartment was well equipped with good kitchen, washing machine, dryer iron and table, cleaning products, vacuum cleaner, to mention a few. Very clean, and plenty of supplies to get us through the stay. The view was amazing and listening to the waves lap against the shore at night was a perfect end to the day. For a beach side get away, it was perfect. The oversized garage with additional external parking meant that we could store all our fishing gear, bikes, boogie boards and anything else that we could not have taken with us to any of the overpriced hotels. Would love to stay again.

We love this part of Nelson Bay! The apartment has been renovated and very very comfortable. The views from the living area and balcony make you feel like you are on holidays instantly. Janet was the perfect host, sending lots of info about the area and was quick to help when needed.

Our stay at INTREPID 10 was fantastic! The location was great, and the unit matched the description perfectly. Having a lock-up garage and an extra car space was incredibly convenient for storing our beach gear securely. It's a very central spot, and the views were even better than the photos suggested.

We had a wonderful time staying in Janet’s apartment. It was in the perfect location with a view of the water and a short walk to 2 beaches. Everything else was a short drive away. The apartment was very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The only downside was having to make our beds on arrival - not ideal when arriving at 9pm.

This is a tastefully decorated and recently refurbished Apartment with quality fittings throughout. Clean and airy with a view across the bay to Yacaba and birdlife in the adjacent trees. The WiFi is a great benefit during holiday season as the mobile network throughout the Port Stephens area struggles to keep up. A massive plus for us was that we could arrange to trickle charge our EV and ebikes in the apartments own garage. This is a rare option for apartments in this area. If this is something of potential benefit to you please contact the owner for guidance. Within a short walk to the western end of Shoal Bay beach but also within walking distance of Little Beach and if you are an intrepid adventurer you could climb the hill to the Inner Lighthouse Tea Rooms. šŸ˜€šŸ˜€ Only our first stay in this Apartment but if we return to the area it will be at the very top of our list.
