Storybook Cottage is just as you would imagine . . . charming and dreamy, the perfect place to get away from your fast-paced world to find the things that matter most. From the painted poplar wood floors and the cathedral ceiling to the sleeping loft, outdoor shower and stacked stone wall, this cottage is one of a kind and is perfect for a romantic getaway, small families, weekend with friends or as an artist / writers retreat. Storybook Cottage has been featured in several publications.



Storybook Cottage sits on a small plot of land in Leiper's Fork, just a short scenic thirty minute drive south of Nashville in the best community in the area. The close proximity makes it a perfect getaway for recording artists and entertainment professionals looking for peace and quiet during their stay in Nashville. The Natchez Trace Parkway is a little over a mile away and is perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding and scenic drives and 'Main Street' in Downtown Franklin is just a short twelve mile drive.

The Cottage features cathedral ceilings, one bedroom, plus loft and one bathroom with just over 800 sq ft of living space. The master bedroom has a king size bed, while the loft features two twin size beds. In addition to the one full bathroom, there is a charming, private, outdoor shower off the back enclosed porch. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, from a bottle opener to pots and pans, baking dishes to forks and knives. You can look forward to enjoying a cup of coffee on the back enclosed porch, reading a book or taking a nap in the hammock and making s'mores over the crackling fire in the outdoor fire pit. For any who've never experienced an outdoor shower... do, do, do. There's something uniquely special about showering outside in the midst of nature, the sounds and fresh air.

DirecTV and a selection of DVD’s. are available for your viewing pleasure. A washer and dryer are also available for your use.

*Please note that due to the incline of the stairs, the loft is not suitable for young children. There is a queen sleeper sofa for your use.

The Cottage truly has a character all it's own, a secluded retreat nestled amongst the trees off the beaten path. Storybook Cottage is where a touch of nature and your imagination make everyday life a little less ordinary.

* Sleeps up to six guests, but is better suited for four.

* One king suite downstairs.

* Second "bedroom" is a loft with two twin beds.

* One bathroom, plus additional outdoor shower

* One sleeper sofa in living room room

* Check-in 4PM and check-out 11AM, unless otherwise arranged.

* Washer/Dryer for laundry.

* A fully equipped kitchen.

* Wifi available.

* One mile from The Natchez Trace Parkway.

*Please note that the outdoor shower is winterized and inoperable November thru April

The pictures don’t do the property justice. It is set in the country and detailed with simple elegance. It is absolutely a couples retreat house. The outdoor firepit ready with kindling and logs is a nice touch and the s’mores kit ready to go in the kitchen was a nice touch. My wife is interested in a return trip during fall colors to relax and read a book.

This cottage is picture perfect! We had all of the amenities that we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the location is ideal if you are wanting to be close to Leiper’s Fork. Just a couple of miles away. It is also about a mile 1/2 from the Natchez Trace Parkway. We spent every morning drinking coffee on the porch, listening to the leaves fall. This area is so beautiful in the fall! We will definitely be back!

Truly a Storybook Cottage! Beautiful wooded setting, amazingly comfortable bed, well appointed and adorably decorated!! Matt was quick to respond to a couple questions I had and was very accomodating! Perfect little place away from it all to regroup and unwind. We will definitely be returning!!

Storybook cottage was the perfect place for us to revisit our Tennessee roots while celebrating our 35th Anniversary! The peaceful setting and close proximity to Leiper's Fork and Franklin gave us the opportunity to hear some fantastic country music and enjoy great southern foods. This was the perfect place for us to retreat and do a Reiki training. It was away from all the typical distractions but close enough to Leipers Fork where we could leave Saturday night for dinner and hear some live music. Great property and outdoor spaces.

Beautiful cabin in woods about 5 minutes outside of downtown Liepers Fork. Our family enjoyed the beauty of the forest and easy access to the local landmarks like Fox and Locke, where my husband even got to sing on stages during their open mic. Great experience all around.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cottage. A friend and I took a girl's getaway and couldn't have been happier. The grounds were pristine, and everything was clean. We didn't have any issues. The property manager Matt was very accommodating and even let us check in early. We will be back for sure!

We took a 4 day trip to get away from stress and some relaxing time. The cottage was perfect surrounded by woods and so comfortable. We took a walk in the woods and drive to Leibers Fork, and hiked a little on the Natchez Trace. We enjoyed sitting and planning trips we want to take. Everything about it was great. Comfy bed, quiet, the added Christmas touches was so thoughtful. We enjoyed the book of past guest. Had a little issue getting hooked up to internet and owner responded quickly and problem was solved. We hope to visit again soon.

This place was amazing! My hansband and I just got married and wanted something quiet, but still close enough to stores, nashville, etc! This house totally has a Hansel and Gretel vibe for sure! This place is so adorable and cozy! We 100% recommend for any couple wanting to get away. Matt was our contact and he was amazing and very quick to respond to any questions you may have before or during your stay! If you are considering this place..just stop looking and book this adorable place! You will not be disappointed!
