Cabane en rondins Storybrook

Storybrook Log cabin est l'endroit idéal pour vos vacances à Story, Indiana. Que vous visitiez les sentiers équestres du Brown County State Park ou que vous visitiez certains des lieux de divertissement de Story, le Storybrook Log Cabin est l'endroit idéal. Cette cabane en rondins de deux étages a tout le charme d'une cabane en rondins des années 1800, mais équipée de toutes les commodités modernes d'aujourd'hui.

Au niveau principal, vous trouverez un salon chaleureux et accueillant avec un foyer au bois. La cuisine / salle Ă  manger surdimensionnĂ©e est garantie d'ĂȘtre le lieu de rassemblement prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©. Cette cuisine est Ă©quipĂ©e de tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour prĂ©parer un repas campagnard Ă  l'ancienne. En outre, au niveau principal, vous trouverez une chambre avec un lit double et une salle de bain complĂšte.

La chambre principale avec un tout nouveau lit traßneau queen est située à l'étage, ainsi que deux autres chambres, une avec un lit double et une avec deux lits jumeaux. Il y a aussi une salle de bain complÚte avec douche et baignoire séparée sur pattes.

Le chalet Storybrook Log est situĂ© sur sept acres boisĂ©s. Il y a beaucoup de terrain plat pour se promener et dĂ©couvrir la beautĂ© du comtĂ© de Brown. DerriĂšre la cabane, il y a un petit Ă©tang Ă  grenouilles, un ruisseau babillant et un feu de camp. Juste au-delĂ  du ruisseau se trouve le voisin idĂ©al - le parc d'État du comtĂ© de Brown!

Vous apprécierez d'explorer la nature à son meilleur, tout en vous relaxant sur le porche arriÚre. Observez les cerfs et autres animaux sauvages tout en dégustant un repas à la table de pique-nique.

weekend get away

Recent storm damage left debris on the property and a broken off limb fell on one of our cars damaging the roof.Parking limited and tree limbs overhang the parking area. Kids picked up ticks in the yard while playing which was probably unavoidable given the wooded location..On the positive side, the accommodations met our needs for a family weekend and the check in process was a breeze. Beautiful spot located just before Story Inn. An unfortunate act of nature put a pall over our stay. In spite of this, I would stay there again.

Nice place

The house was larger than expected and had more than enough room for the 5 humans and 2 dogs plus cages. My kids loved having more than enough rooms to choose from. We got stuck in the storm with all the rain so we spent most our trip inside playing cards and cooking. The huge kitchen was very nice for that. My kids had a blast and said they’d visit this cabin again!

Wonderful Family Place

Had a family get together over Thanksgiving. The owner provided wood for a real wood fire. We so much enjoyed sitting in the old cabin part of the house after dinner and chatting with family in front of a roaring fire. The kitchen/dining area was spacious and well appointed. It is a short walk to Story, IN and backs up to the state park. We had some nice walks in the woods during our stay. .

A Story to remember

After reviewing various properties on Vrbo, I selected a stay at the Storybrooke cabin. We needed a four bedroom cabin and the description and amenities made it an easy choice. The leasing office gave us very easy directions to find the cabin, which, to our surprise, was even nicer than what we had anticipated. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The overall feel of the cabin was cozy and warm. The kitchen area was very well equipped and made shared cooking easy. We especially enjoyed the TV area even though our IU team lost to Ohio State. It was very quiet and, beautiful in the surrounding area. It was not far to go to hike in the Brown County State Park. We also made a couple of runs to downtown Nashville. Most of the time we spent in the cabin just talking to each other, playing games and eating it was very relaxing and enjoyable . All of us agreed it was one of our best vacation times ever.

Quiet

The cabin is roomy and as adults we did not use the television or the living room. The fire pit area is great. My sister and the ghosts met. That was interesting- the lights by the sink flickered often and the doors didn’t want to let you in or out.

Beautiful cabin. Loved the property but it was a little hard to find. The woman I got in touch with was a bit condescending in regard to communication. She stated that directions were in an email but they were actually in a phone message that I did not check because I dont answer numbers I don’t know. However once I got there I was pleased with the property. Would stay there again.

Wonderful Log Cabin

The purpose of our trip was to enjoy the fall colors in beautiful Brown County with some of our siblings. The Storybrook Log Cabin was the perfect accommodations. We enjoyed exploring, hiking, reminiscing, campfires, and so much more. The cabin location was close to Nashville and Brown County State Park which we enjoyed, yet off of the beaten path which provided us the solitude we were looking for. We have memories that we will carry with us from this trip.

Privacy and beauty

The house inside was perfect for our family gathering. And the backyard was open and serene. We felt free to roam. And brought wood for a great campfire. Perfect place for us

Family weekend at Story Brook

The Story Brook cabin exceeded our expectations. It was immaculately clean and easily accommodated our family of 2 senior adults, 3 young adults, a teen and a child, with gathering spaces and private nooks. Three of the bedrooms have a stair or two leading into the rooms which could be difficult for mobility challenged people. The outside campfire space is beautiful! Thank you to the check in staff and cleaning staff and all who made our stay a delight!

We had a great time. The cabin was a great location and wonderful grounds. However, there was a sewer smell in the kitchen we couldn’t get rid of. Other than that it was a great place and would recommend it to others.

IU Graduation Weekend

We used the property as a family gathering spot for IU graduation weekend. It is a nice quiet setting very close to the town of Story. It was a 45 minute drive to Bloomington, but we made that choice. The property has a large kitchen and dining area that was perfect for our family. The bedrooms are small, but perfectly functional. Overall, we were impressed with the property and the service.

Sister-in-law weekend

We really enjoyed our stay, none of us had any vacation in 2020, we spent most of our weekend at Storybook :). It was myself and 5 of sister-in-laws on our first annual sister-in-law weekend. The one setback to the place is how far the fire pit is, we were 6 women age 55 to 69 :( .
