Very cozy and super stocked cabin
My family and I enjoyed a restful weekend getaway at your cozy cabin in the woods. Despite the cold weather outside, the cabin was warm and inviting with its crackling fireplace. The cabin provided the perfect rustic escape from busy everyday life. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep and cooking easy and enjoyable. We appreciated the comfortable beds and hot showers after long days outdoors. Your cabin offered all the amenities one needs without any unnecessary extra frills. With its secluded woodland setting, the cabin was peaceful and relaxing. It's a perfect retreat for those seeking to unwind in nature's beauty yet still have a furnished place to lay your head at night. I would highly recommend this cozy cabin to anyone looking to spend a long weekend relaxing in the great outdoors but wanting the comforts of home. We left recharged and ready to take on the rest of winter. Thank you for opening your cabin - we hope to return again soon!

Beautiful Country Cabin
Very comfortable beds. It's a great location in the countryside, yet close enough to a gas station and Shady Maple! There were 5 of us staying (plus our dog) and we had plenty of room in the cabin. I would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay
What a great place to stay, our first none working vacation in 35 years is what my wife and I was looking for, (the peace and quiet). Our alarm clock in the mornings was the horse and buggies taking the children to school in the morning. Walking on Welsh Mountain trails and just riding around on all the little back country roads is a must. We will be going back for another stay.

Perfect for your Family! Amazing Find!
This was an amazing VRBO find! Everything was spotless and pleasant. Our children loved watching the chickens, horses and dogs in the neighbors yard and spent lots of time in the hot tub at night! You are really in the heart of Amish Country and you will enjoy watching horse and buggy pass the property regularly. The big screen TV was perfect for family movie nights and the kids got a a kick out do the log beds. Overall the house was great!

Three friends and I had a wonderful long weekend at Cozy cabin! Everything was included to make this a relaxing getaway. Cookies upon our arrival, plenty of firewood, and a great Keurig selection for our morning coffee! The beds were comfy and the place was spotless!

Just what we needed
The house was awesome, better than the pictures. It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need from coffee and spices to extra towels, pillows and sheets.Everyone had fun with the hot tub and the pool table and also playing and relaxing in the backyard while watching the chickens and horses. Samuel is very easy to work with. We would love to come back one day.

Absolutely wonderful
This is our 2nd stay at cozy cabin and it was all that we remember and more. Everything about this cabin is so special and thought out. We love the authenticity and how truly cozy this place is. The pictures don’t do the views justice it’s even more beautiful in person. Everything you need is available in the kitchen and thruout the house and firewood stacked up by the mounds ready to go. We will sure to be be back again in 2023, we make such amazing memories each time we come!

Lovely quiet cabin
This was a girls’ getaway weekend and we had a wonderful stay! We lit a fire every night and watched Christmas movies. There was plenty of hot water, coffee pods, games and views of the country!

Majestic Serenity
This cabin was the coziest place I have ever sat in my life! Everything was exactly as described on the website and more. It was very clean, sparsely, but tastefully decorated. The beds and linens were above and beyond. We enjoyed the real fireplace and a hot tub. It was so quiet and peaceful. The surrounding areas were great to look at the second week of October with the leaves changing. Not a lot of traffic nearby and really good restaurants. We would definitely love to stay again maybe a week later for some more colors on the leaves.

Great Weekend
We all had a great time at the cabin. We used the fireplace, the grill, fire pit. The cabin and property were great, people who stayed with us was asking for information for future stays. I recommend anyone to stay there. A BIG thumbs up!!!!!!!!!

Ther perfect serene spot to get a local feel and bind with your family
If you need a spot to stay a few nights and just be content with seeing the Amish this place is perfect. It’s well kept and you’ll see horses passing all day. The neighbor Steve also has horses and chickens that’ll go along your yard. Hot tub and fire pit just make a perfect bonding experience! It’s perfect for a 2-3 day Amish feel stay. Host is very accommodating as well. I’d recommend it!

Peaceful and cozy cabin
We have a lot of experience renting houses and this was our best family experience including our dogs! It was great to unplug and relax. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and the fire pit was great! We grilled burgers, hotdogs, steaks and had Smores over the open fire which had an attached grill grate! We were close enough to all the tourist attractions and amenities but it was tucked in out in the countryside. The cabin was so well stocked, unlike any other rental we have been to. My dogs were so happy running in the yard and saying Hi (barking at) the horse, chickens and little dog next door. And how can you not be in awe of all the horse and buggies passing by as you sit out on the porch rocking away in the comfy rocking chairs! We will definitely be back again! Thank you for a wonderful stay Samuel!

Great cabin - exactly what I was looking for
Great little house. Daughter loved the dog next door and the bunk beds…even had cookies for her when we walked in the door so she was sold instantly which is huge for a 5 yo! Place was clean with the exception of a little dirt that seemed to have fallen on one of the beds in the basement, but we didn’t use that area so didn’t bother us at all. A couple of the chairs seemed to be broken and the cabin didn’t vent well with fireplace going but we loved the wood burning fireplace and the little cabin, sitting out by the fire at night and cozying up by the one inside before bed was just what I needed to relax! Great time and great cabin!

The coziest cabin!
My partner and I had the best stay! The cabin was so clean and felt welcoming when we arrived. It’s in a great location with so many sites, shops and activities close by but also lots to do at the cabin. We loved sitting at the fire, playing basketball and relaxing in the hot tub. We were looking forward to playing pool but there was already so much to do we didn’t even get around to playing. The cabin was stocked with towels, coffee, plates and utensils, and even had little shampoo and conditioner bottles! Can’t forget the homemade cookies that were waiting for us! Would totally stay here again!!

Amazing Getaway in Amish Country
This is a true home away from home experience! Sammy has everything stocked and available for use - from bath towels to mini shampoos and kitchen staples (including k-cups!) to dish soap, you’ll have all you need and more! It’s such a warm and inviting cabin with scenic farmland views from the large, well-maintained yard and fire pit. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing getaway
My boyfriend and I stayed at Cozy Cabin the first week of March with our doggie. The property is beautiful and it is secluded, your neighbors being a couple horses and some chickens. The cabin itself its extremely clean, and I'm the type of person who brings all my cleaning products with me, including things like sheets and pillows and towels just because we have walked into some disasters in the past. I did not use one thing - the cabin is PRISTINE. It is so cozy and beautiful and has all the amenities that you could think of and need. Samuel has managed to make outsiders feel like they are at home. There is such an ease to this house, being able to walk outside and immediately walk up to a jacuzzi (which was perfectly clean), have breakfast on the deck outside your bedroom, let your dog off their lease to go play in a perfectly manicured yard, or just walk over to the garage which was fully stocked with wood (just like it shows in the picture) to get the fire pit or fireplace started at anytime. We took hikes every morning at the trails at Welsh Mountain, about 2 miles from the house and would come back and just be at such a peace. You are off the grid but yet you are also well connected with strong wifi and a town to go into for shopping or browsing when you feel like it. We loved playing basketball and pool and getting to snuggle up to watch some movies with the fire cracking in the background. There is something very special about this house that goes beyond beautiful asthetics and cleanliness. You will make a lot of memories here and I highly recommend to anyone to just book and stay, you will be so grateful you did. This was our favorite getaway to date and it will not be our last, we look forward to returning in the near future! Thank you Samuel for being such a wonderful host and sharing your home to us!

Charming Cottage Experience
We throughly enjoyed out stay at the cottage. Our kids particularly enjoyed the basketball hoop and having countless matches at the pool table. The cottage was very well maintained and it felt very homey especially with its cleanness. It is a lovely log cabin with many charms. We highly recommend staying at Sammy's cabin for anyone who seeks quite comfort in a clean environment!

Quaint cabin in peaceful area
Stayed here for a long weekend in the dead of winter. The cabin was very cute, and very well appointed, with everything we needed on hand. Be advised that only a smart tv is provided, with no regular cable. Many thanks to the owner for shoveling/salting after the snowstorm. Much appreciated! I would definitely consider staying here again for short breaks in Amish country.

The PERFECT Getaway

Hometown Nostalgia
I grew up in Lancaster County and was home for my 40th high school reunion. I have a stress-filled career and knew I wanted to stay in the country, away from the traffic and city. This was the absolute perfect spot, with three horses, a puppy, chickens, and wonderful Amish/Mennonite neighbors. Sammy was awesome in his communications and I'm glad I was able to meet him in person. Wonderful host and person! The cabin was cozy and quaint, with all the amenities and supplies one would want or need. Sammy has it covered! I will be back with friends who have never been to the area. It's a must-experience place that's serene and soothes the soul!
